I generally agree but think it's very difficult personally to find someone that, overall, beats being single especially during 20's.
Dealing with drama, moods, nagging, more stress, losing freedom on one hand, but avoiding loneliness and having fun and companionship on the other hand.
I think the latter factors begin to outweigh the former as one gets older into their 30's/40's though. If I felt the same way I did at 25 (never felt lonely, never desired companionship), I'd be perfectly fine living out my life single and free and retiring younger.
Of course those factors all weigh differently for different people, so I don't think we should project too much. But I reckon it's fair to assume loneliness would set in for 99% of people later in life.

If you completely remove the loneliness factor, plus the desire for companionship, is it still so bad staying single? Not really.

some chit seem easy but actually make your life harder. when you never fold and put away your clothes you can't ever find the shiit you want in the pile. thats how parenting is, you smoke your kids so they fall asleep at 8-8:30

Singlecels are on suicide watch
Def a pathetic existence
Imagine Being 50 and spending your Fridayโs Worried about $1 beers at the local pub, banging old loose pussy hags, obsessing over the latest local nfl team trades, crying to sleep over the oneinitis who got away, playing call of duty eating Doritos and hot dogs, having no sense of community, watching your friends and their families enjoy life, never being invited anywhere, working at the local factory listening to classic rock, wearing a bandana and leather jacket
****k that is worse than hell

Usually I can manage anxiety fine by going out to do fun things and going to the gym and self care like salons and visiting friends and family etc.
During lockdown that all stopped and I was just alone with my thoughts so that got pretty bad. Even started having PTSD type symptoms like flashbacks. Made me realize Iโm really not over my divorce at all even though itโs been many years.

I also think too much freedom can be disconcerting sometimes. When you are alone and completely free to do anything, it can be overwhelming. Whereas the structure and responsibilities of a family life (or even to another person) can set some direction.
I've thought about this a lot. Complete freedom is the best option if you don't desire companionship; but limiting that freedom through responsibility is typically better for the human condition.
I also believe humans are bigger slaves to our genes than we recognize. We desire certain roles innately.

Iโve done pretty much everything else youโre supposed to do to heal from divorce plus itโs been many years. Really nothing else left to try and I think itโs only a new love that could finally let me get over it.
