well, like most of the US, Oregon is a red-rural vs blue-urban divide. The metro areas have a higher population than the rural areas and will generally vote blue, regardless of candidate, by default. Unfortunately I could see someone even further to the left challenging her if she runs for reelection and winning the urban areas, which would be even worse for the state.
