Pros:

Hot girls, fat guys. Easy to get chicks
One of best cities in south
Plenty to do for mid size city

Cons:

Cost of living for what it offers is beyond stupid
Traffic is a nightmare
Hope you like country music
Basically half the city is a no go zone because it’s just retard tourists

All in all there are worse places to live

Living just outside Nashville makes more sense.

The city proper is having the same issue as Texas, all the lefties moving in from elsewhere and driving up rent and home prices.

I know several people who moved to Nashville. It's one of the fastest growing cities in the country and the real estate market there is absolutely insane compared to the money you make. It's a fun city and there are a lot of things to do but I'm not sure its worth the traffic and the inflated real estate. It would have been the best spot in the country to buy a house in 10 to 15 years ago.

Nashville has more of a mid south vibe to it. I feel more comfortable in a city with a deep south feel like Memphis

I love Nashville to visit but to live there - NO

Traffic as bad as LA/Atlanta
Two hour waits in restaurants
Hopeless to get into concerts...Everybody in three states wants to visit the Ryman auditorium
Housing is expensive
City built and designed for 250k people with a million people living in it
Drunk female tourist instagram fifth realm of hell
Loaded with Yankees and Californians trying to be "country"...

So I would take a hard pass on living there..Visiting - ABSOLUTELY!

Interesting thanks.

My whole family is moving and they were looking hard at Nashville.

I figured that if we move to a sh!tty weather part of the south, might as well be Windermere FL so at least I can go to Disney World everyday until I succumb to heat stroke.

I'd rather live in Knoxville. It's much smaller but since its a college town it has tons of amenities. My sister in law did her undergrad at UT and loved it there

Not at all. Population is deflating. It's the next Memphis. They're doing their white flight right now.

Nashville is a great city. Hot girls everywhere (mostly transplants), underrated night life, great restaurants, nice parks, a couple of lakes to chill on.

But I would get a job in Nashville and live in Clarksville.

Nashville real estate has already sky rocketed and 31% increase in property taxes doesn't help (includes apartments).

Clarksville is growing with a new downtown being built, new casino, and the Preds practice facility coming soon.

Well, I won't get into specifics, but one member of my family in particular would make a lot of money in Nashville, and the opportunities don't exist outside the city.

I've been trying to get him to see how cool it would be to drive a bus at Disney World, but no luck yet.
