Will you home school or send your kids to private school?
The public school system has failed the children of America. Unfortunately there are a lot of lazy and bad teachers that are out numbering the good public school teachers now. Curriculum is utilized to indoctrinate children and reduce their ability to critically think. Feelings have replaced all rationality.
A lot of this is to blame on teachers unions, which is why I am such an advocate for school vouchers. Families with children should be given the opportunity to choose whether their tax dollars will be used to send their child to public school, to a private school, or to home school their children.
Due to all that, I’m debating whether I will have my children (When I have them) home schooled or have them go to private school. I’m leaning more towards private for the social factor, but I think a better classical education could be taught through home school.
What are you guys doing or have done?

Not having kids for one

My kid is in public and I plan on keeping her their but private school is getting more appealing. If they pass the BLM agenda then I’m sending her to private.
Most home school kids are awkward. Not doing that to her. Kids need to be able to socialize with all walks of life and that is what appeals me to public schools.

I'd teach my kid everything, but send him or her to a school for social development/credentials. I can teach my kid every subject from K-12 though and probably up to undergrad in STEM fields easily.
Sadly, I will never father offspring since society has deemed me to be genetic sewage. But I can take some recourse in watching their civilization collapse in my time left on this Earth.

Some public schools are better than others. Imho it isn’t because teachers are all that much better, but because those students come from communities where parents put more effort into educating and raising their kids. Thats why it isn’t always about the $ when it comes to a good school atmosphere. We have less affluent towns with better rated schools in some cases here in NJ, where the community is tight-knit and solid.

I still have time 5-6 years so a lot can change between now and then, but it’s something that I’ll be watching closely.
One major thought is decreasing my reliance on the government in a myriad of areas, especially when it comes to education. I’m sure I would be infuriated if I moved to an expensive neighborhood to be in a good school district and then boom teachers strike. Now my kids aren’t getting educated and I’m paying a premium for it.

Private school or homeschool.
Public schools in California, in all socioeconomic levels, are leftwing indoctrination factories. Homosexual/transsexual agenda, feminism, disturbing sex Ed for young children, attacking manhood (toxic masculinity), and a militant atheism, are all standard. The level of education required is being lowered constantly.
There are some nice growing home school networks that are not based on religious identity (those are almost all Jewish or Protestant) but rather on a more traditional education system. I am interested in those.
I have a family member who is homeschooling his two children and they are part of one of those home school networks (a Jewish one). I really see the difference in intelligence between his two kids and other children that age. He works (military) and she teaches them certain topics and they have a math/science tutor. They are both enrolled in a variety of activities and also meet with the children from the other families for outings and birthdays, etc.

I’ll have to look more into home school networks. I’ve already planned on having my children involved in sports, volunteering, and other activities as well.

Will probably find a group of like minded individuals and get several people to educate the kids in a group.
A small number of students per teacher works far better.
Have them study several languages and STEM subjects.
Get them involved in lots of activities outside of school.
Sports, hunting, fishing, playing musical instruments etc.
