Why do Asians always vote Liberal?

Every single Asian I met is liberal for some reason. This article is actually interesting in the past Asians were Republican, but by 2012 they turned Liberal. Another interesting thing is Asians in Asian countries are against open borders, but majority of Asians in the USA are for it. Very interesting

American conservatism’s greatest failure has been the inability to bring in to the fold Asians, Latins, and Muslims (of any national background). All are naturally socially conservative and somehow the leftists have been able to manipulate them into voting for them. The thank you they get for voting democrat is their children are indoctrinated in university into leftism.

Another thing is Trump is probably the near polar opposite of what Asians represent, honestly.

Though if Trump benefits them, they might think differently.

I haven't spoken to an Asian about Trump in 3 years.

Asians generally are socially conservative but politically authoritative (and thus liberal). They tend to have shallow understanding of privacy and individual liberties, while focusing only on the strengths of the collective and big government.

They also fall for the oppression olympics meme but don't realize that no minorities give a fuk about them.

I typically vote Republican but live and do business in a city that is like 90% Democrat. Most of my clients are either 1st or 2nd generation Asian immigrants and wealthy. I've literally never had a single political discussion with any of them, but they're all extremely family oriented and business owners. They might not identify as "Republican", but they are a lot closer to Republicans than the current iteration of the Democratic Party. One guy's kid just was accepted to Harvard Law School for next year, and was doing M&A work in Chicago the last few years. Although his kid was earning like $400k per year, he was still paying his $2500/month rent.

yes, it's Asians (and Jews) who were brainwashed and it's us who know what's best for them. there can't possibly be anything wrong with the GOP or American conservatism that may shy them away from voting for them.

Theres a very dangerous trend in this country that if you have differing political views at the least you have to be rejected possibly ostracized and worse. So to answer your question in a lot of asian countries obedience is a cornerstone of social behavior. Statistically if you are under 30 and live in an urban or suburban area you’re much more likely to vote democrat. A lot of Asians meet that criteria and even if they personally don’t agree with liberal viewpoints they will probably go along with the tribe. Another phenomenon occuring is telling people if they dont vote a certain way they are dumb, a traitor to their race etc. We saw this with Biden recently with his comments on black people.

As far as the actual issues I would say liberals are pro immigration and thats important to asians typically. I’ve met many asians in the country conditionally on visas and they are often trying to help immigrate other relatives. Just my 2 cents. I’d say just my 2 cents i dont work for cnn or fox news but id actually be less likely to trust info from those news sources.

They actually do a pretty good job with 1st gen Asians and Jews who own businesses. The problem is when their kids go to college and move to cities earning like $200k per year, and they become solid Dems or stop giving a chit.

I'm catholic and we over the years have taken a lot of **** from them. Last I saw we vote 60/40 Republican but I think it may slide right this go around.

It's a true dislike of mine regarding my party. The pandering and religious talk which should be personal. It's a strong misbranding of what the party should be. Drives principals away and forces people to choose a side and contradicting ones faith will do it every time.

It's because the GOP has become antiscientific. Most Asians are STEMcel and when the VP flat out denies evolution and Trump disputes atmospheric physics and virology/epidemiology, there isn't much hope here.

I come from a family that was historically always Republican. But we are all Democrat now.

It is not in the nature of Chinese culture to support any opposition to the current ruling party. Going against the central authority would be analogous to supporting Satan in European culture. You simply do not support the opposition, and always back whoever is currently in power, as this is the best way to avoid war, which would very likely lead to your own death and the death of many others. Chinese history is rife with rebellions which lead to the merciless killing of victor's enemies. Backing anybody but the strong horse is seen as far too dangerous. And right now liberalism very much looks like the strong horse.

Having respect for others/elders, being loyal and family oriented and gaining status through the means of education is being a little bitch?

These same values are why they are successful.

Most Asian people don't give a **** about politics, they're too busy trying to start their next shady business or studying to become a doctor.
