The 3 shots could sound different than the 5 shots because the camera/mic is facing away and behind a barrier at that point.

I think the slight variance in sound because of the shots were because of the proximity to the shots. Pretty sure they were all handgun rounds.

0:40 through 0:49 - Guessing the car started accelerating or tapped the gas at least and larper with AK decided to become a "hero" by shooting this poor guy who was getting swarmed.
0:49 - 5 loud shots. Could be more shots, but the audio cuts out temporarily. Concussion is probably from a larger caliber, hence the AK. My guess is the driver took cover in at this point and drew their handgun.
0:56 - 3 distinctly smaller shots, probably 9mm. Larper with AK probably didn't confirm his kill and relaxed too soon then got surprised when driver returned fire.
0:58 - 1 loud shot, possibly accidentally squeezed off by the presently-deceased as he went down.
