Pretty sure you can't just quit your job and collect unemployment instead in the US.

This was a rugby game played 5 hours ago in NZ. A full stadium. No masks, no social distancing & everyone was safe.

Post is all kinds of stupid that I don't feel like taking apart at the moment.

Also wanna point out that I love how all the morons have BS partisan boogeymen to blame this all on.

Has nothing to do with Dem/Rep, Lib/Conservative, ****ing idiots.

None of this is going away.

It's not going away today, tomorrow, after Trump, etc.

So shut the **** up with all your stupid divisive nonsense.

You're not smart, and you're just doing exactly what the real benefactors of this scam want you to do (which is to sow further division).

Maybe.

But the way he posed it like "we were good little boys and girls and this is how daddy took us out for ice cream" is moronic.

Secondly if he believes the virus is real, having a sporting event in a crowded stadium before any type of antivirus exists is idiotic and asking for trouble.

Literally nothing has changed for me. Even managed to find another job making 20k more a year.

I dont really go out or see friends anymore. I keep to myself. Been like that for the past 5 years.

I still bang tinder sloots here and there.

I work on my hobbies (PC and my summer project car)

My retirement funds dipped 20% and then jumped 25%

Lifes good for me mang. Honestly.. lifes never been better for me

What Australia did was the deadset dumbest sh*t i've ever seen.

I cannot fathom that the government decided to give MORE money to people on the dole (note: not people who lost jobs, the scum who have 10 kids to claim every benefit they can under the sun and sit at home)

Just LMAO what a genius f*cking decision that was.

Why do people think this? So we could do a hard lockdown for a few months, and then what? The virus magically disappears? No, it's still gonna be around, and it will quickly spread when we reopen everything

You live in a small Island nation....it shouldn't be hard for you to close your borders and stop the spread. Other countries would not achieve even remotely the same results even if they took the exact same measures.

Can't believe some people think this is comparing apples to apples.

I think that the truth about COVID-19 lies somewhere in the middle of all the various extreme opinions ITT

I think the virus is very real and very dangerous to select groups.

I think it's not a big deal to ask people to wear a mask during certain situations.

I think this virus was here and running it's course MONTHS before the supposed blow ups in Washington and then NY.

I think this sh!t has 100% been politicized, by BOTH sides but especially the left.

The Market is almost back to where it was before the virus. This should end shortly since the elites are exiting out of their long positions after buying the dip and knowing exactly when the dip would reverse.

rest of the world opened up months ago and life is going back to normal.

meanwhile everything is shut in US and still cases are spreading.

whats happening?

Do they want economy devastated so they can blame it on Trump because its an election year?
Or did we take it too lightly in the beginning and now paying the price?
We also have to realise lot of people continued to drive from state-to-state...unlike in europe where they could easily lock borders.
Should we have locked state borders in the beginning?

Look at the New Zealand brah who posted above. The experts were saying all you need to do is lockdown hard for maybe month to starve the virus out, then you could open back up safely, and life would slowly go back to normal.

US leadership did a half-assed lockdown, got impatient with it after a week or two then forced a premature reopening. The result of that is a virus that is still spreading, while other countries are getting back to normal and banning travel from the virus plagued US so that we dont re-infest their populations again lol

So many retards ITT

Do retards actually think the rest of the world has solved coronavirus?

Most countries in the world with a LARGE population have not solved coronavirus.

1. China, No
2. India, No
3. United States, No
4. Indonesia, No
5. Pakistan, trending down for now
6. Nigeria, not enough data
7. Brazil, hell No
8. Bangladesh, No
9. Russia, No
10. Mexico, No

Also loling @ the lack of geography knowledge and below average IQ ITT

Why the hell is anyone talking about New Zealand? They're a country with 5 million people in the middle of nowhere, that's no less an island. No chit they're able to solve the virus fast if they lock down. Apparently, people didn't even wear masks there either LOL.

They have:

1. A low population
2. Middle of nowhere
3. On an island

I've been seeing people bring up NZ's success, and if you compare the U.S or any other country to them, you're truly a retard srs

Since the general population sits at a room temp IQ, they cannot understand how Europe has "contained" the virus

Europe is full of countries that closed their borders, they can do that, they're independent countries. If the United States could close each state's border to contain the virus and follow Europe's model, they would have. But it's the United States and you cannot shut down the borders, you cannot, we're not Europe. And closing down each country and securing their borders hasn't solved the rona, just "contained" it.

Fact of the matter is that every single large population country in the world has not solved rona, idk where it's even coming from that they have.

Also the brah that mentioned that if you lockdown, and suddenly open up, and have the virus come back, is correct. It will ALWAYS come back.

As someone who's massively gotten ****ed over (small business), this is absolutely the right decision. The only mistake is that they didn't freeze all rent/mortgage/credit card payments while the shutdown was in the place. If we had fully shutdown for 3 months and didn't have potato deniers, we would have had our summer of 2020 back. But, here we are... now with our fall in jeopardy and people like you are still denying the severity of the disease.
You have to believe there are/were people in our government that knew damn well what this would do to the economy (shut down). And they decided we needed to do it anyway. But we kind of half-assed it because politics.

Also this. Check out something like 1/3rd of those getting seriously ill with the virus are continuing to be ill for months:
Research is limited on these so-called "long haulers." New York City's Mount Sinai hospital appears to have the first post-COVID treatment center in the U.S.

A study of 143 patients in Italy out this month in JAMA Network found 87% of patients who had recovered from COVID-19 reported at least one lingering symptom, notably fatigue and trouble breathing.

Natalie Lambert, an Indiana University associate research professor, analyzed at least 1,100 responses to a poll about post-COVID-19 symptoms in the 81,000-member Survivor Corps ******** group. More than half of the patients reported at least one of six symptoms, including the now-common fatigue and breathing problems.

The list also includes two – inability to exercise or be active and difficulty concentrating – the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention hasn't yet cited in its list of COVID-19 symptoms.
https://www.usatoday.com/in-depth/ne...ms/5420534002/
In a multistate telephone survey of symptomatic adults who had a positive outpatient test result for SARS-CoV-2 infection, 35% had not returned to their usual state of health when interviewed 2–3 weeks after testing. Among persons aged 18–34 years with no chronic medical conditions, one in five had not returned to their usual state of health.

Regan, 32, said it took her a month to feel back to normal after she fell ill. More than three months later, she is still trying to get back into competitive shape, she said. That level of fitness was extremely high: Regan is a four-time world champion in her ninth year on the national team.

“I’ve never struggled like that before,” she said.
