Maybe I'm immoral, but that doesn't seem bad. That exact same thing happens all the time, OPEC comes to mind.

As long as you aren't preventing others from competing with you (something that corporations do all the time via government) you are good to go.

I don’t really see a problem unless your buying stolen property or doing like credit card fraud or something.

But I don’t really see how you would buy “luxury goods” in bulk. I probably have a higher standard of what’s considered a luxury good... but most luxury goods don’t have any wholesale systems any more.

They sell in limited quantities directly to consumers or through authorized retailers. The authorized retailers wouldn’t dare sell outside the means of what is expected of them, or for a mark up above msrp, or the risk losing a cash-cow brand. Also, they would never need to sell “in bulk at a discount” because they easily sellout at full msrp with people waiting on waitlists to buy from them.

So either I’m missing something, or OP might be getting scammed himself. It would take a lot of capital to even entertain the idea of what op is talking about.

But I’m thinking of like Rolex, Cartier, Hermès, etc level of luxury. Maybe op is on a lower level then that.

Depends on the level of luxury. High end designer stuff can get ridiculously expensive. This bag is $2k, and that's not even that high.
