First day back in the gym since Covid lockdowns in March

RIP strength gains. Just wondering how much everyone else lost?

Was only able to bench 315 for 4 reps when I used to hit 10 pretty easily and only 80 on dumbbell shoulder press for 8 when I can usually throw up 110s x 12.

Yeah I was surprised I can even manage 3 plates on bench. Although its so weird that when your mind thinks its easy when lifting lighter weight than your used to, but your body physically cant

Yeah i'm dubious of OP's strength claims. Bragging about your lifts is something noobs do. He could totally be able to accomplish the lift he said, but it just seems a bit odd to me. Props if you can but boo if your are stretching your stats (which none of us on the misc have EVER done)

Good job dropping the 3 plate stat on Two consecutive posts. Either frauding or fishing for compliments. But who cares!

OP did you have to wear a mask? And if so did you feel really hot/uncomfortable with it on? I think that would be an issue especially with HIIT cardio.

So repping 315 WILL be achieved if you lift long enough. Wow....if only everyone knew this hot tip

3 month break was sort of a blessing in disguise for me honestly

Came back to the gym fresh and mentally reset. Only took me around 3 weeks to get my strength back and I've been making some of the best gains I've ever made in the last month or so.

2 months off at the gym actually helped increasing my strength. My joints were all healed and wel rested and I've made significant gains in terms of strength and mass easily.

You look natty to me. As someone who has lifted for a long time, it haven’t lost that much size and I don’t even lift - I run now thanks to a chronic shoulder injury.

I approve.
