Holy chit the new normal is fukked I don’t wanna lift on earth anymore
Cliffs:
-Decided to have a Sunday funday with the boys, first time since my state (PA) tightened the bar restrictions. 5 of us meet up and pregame
-get to the first spot which is a winery usually crawling with sloots. Looks like a ghost town but we still get in line to get a drink at the bar.
-every one of us has to buy a hot dog with our beer, but the bartender tells us for the next round of beers only one of us has to buy a hotdog. Lol wot?
-go to the next spot and again it’s tumbleweeds, this time all 5 of us sit at a table and only have to order one appetizer between all of us and can order unlimited drinks
-go to the 3rd spot and by this time it’s just me and my best bro. We are stuffed but I order some egg rolls just to meet the requirements and the waitress says we each have to order a full meal. We do it just because we never get to see each other and don’t wanna go home yet. One table of girls sits down next to us and they seem to be arguing with the waitress and they get up and leave.
The whole day everywhere we went it had the atmosphere of a funeral. It’s just not the same if you can’t be standing at the bar and walking around talking to sloots. Noticed the only people enjoying themselves were couples out for dinner. might be time to either get a gf or just get shredded enough to have tinder sloots lined up. 3rd option is to head out to the remote wilds and spend the rest of my days living off the land.

You sound kind of a little bitch whining about petty inconveniences while there's an ongoing public emergency.
Anyway re. the bar thing, I stopped meeting my bros in bars and go to restaurants instead. My reasoning is that bars are chit at table service, food etc. but restaurants are good at those things. Also it's common for restaurants here to allow you to bring your own wine and charge a small corkage fee, so it's comparatively cheap to drink vs. a bar. Lastly I pick places with good reviews, so the food is good.
Once it's over I'll hit bars again, but r/n restaurants are a better bet IMO.
EDIT
Also empty bars are kind of depressing but all the restaurants I've been to are doing relatively normal service with some extra spacing, so it's not a bummer.

You lost me at the "Sunday funday with the boys" ...

Sounds like something a group of sorority girls would say.
Yah obv its not gonna be like back in the day the problem is still there. It will get back to normal eventually but it may take a year or two srs. It was same after 9/11 took a while but things got back to where they were before.
