I am phucking retarded, literally cannot figure this out ( misc enginners experts)

The real length of a line is 30m. I need to draw this chit at a scale of 1:100 in solidworks.
How in the phuck do i do this ?
First of all every drawing is done in milimeters right ?
What line length do i need to draw in solidworks parts then import into a drawing at a scale of 1:100 in order to get 30m in real life after calculations ?

I have never used that program but..

1:100 means "scale drawing dimensions 100fold to get real dimensions", therefore, divide real dimension by 100 to get paper drawing dimensions.

but this is stupid, without even knowing that software I know you should input the real dimensions then modifiy the viewport/paper space/plot scale/whatever scale acordingly

30 * 1000 = 30,000mm

30,000/100 = 300mm.

If your layer is scaled at 1:100, then draw the line 30m. Do not need to math. Everything is scaled within that layer.

That is a long ass line even scaled down by 100

Irregardless, just go to custom scaling and set it up there.

Always model the part full size. So model the part 1:1, then when you create your drawing, set the drawing scale to 1:100. It's pretty simple brah.

this is what i did, i selected in the bottom right to draw in meters, then i imported in drawing at a scale lf 1:100 and it gave me 30.000

if i draw it directly to the scale of 1:100 (so 30m at a scale of 1:100 is 300mm in drawing ) and mention the scale its basically the same thing right ?

This is what I do. I had to do this in school and it was a pain. Much easier to just model it in the correct size and then scale from there. This is the easy part too lol.

i did this but when i converted it it didnt give me the dimension i was expecting

I've never used the program but I'm 100% sure that you just draw everything in the correct measurements first and then the program has an option to scale it.

The people who made the program are programmers and should know that tradies are dip****s who can't do basic math.

I often find that it is the tradies who actually know how to use the program, and the engineers are the dipchits that can't use it. I've had the tradie 3D Modelers explain the program to the design engineers.
