We are most likely living inside a simulation srs.

But what kinda simulstion that I don't know.

If you are religious then automatically you believe in the simulation theory. We all are puppets and playthings in a universe created by a bored god.

It could be just like matrix. We are living batteries for robots.

We could be some sort of a research project. Who's research is anyone's guess. Could be aliens, beings also live amongs us or god himself.

Or it could be our own brains leading the simulation. You look at one thing and have thoughts about it right? Chances are high the next person will have different thoughts.


Thoughts?

Mathematically speaking, the likelihood we are in a simulation is almost 100%. But I'm curious why some of us need to live shyt lives? Why can't everyone be living it up in the matrix? Perhaps it's some kind of weird torture device. Perhaps we are in hell as punishment for out misdeeds.

Well the succesful people could be NPCs coded to the system. Or there could be some amount of freewill allowed to allow that kind of thing for some.

System would collapse is everyone would have been succesful.

Not really. I'm not religious, but you clearly have a very poor understanding of religion. Perhaps if you mean those who believe that there is a literal God etc.

Why did you present such a position as "We are most likely living inside a simulation srs." and then completely neglect to explain why you think so? I mean, proposing different sorts of simulations isn't supporting the original statement at all.

Been reading Jim A-Khalilis book on the subject. Him and his coworkers claim Earth is a highly desolete planet in terms of resources etc. Only logical reason they might have an interest with us is that of curiosity or research purposes.

Believing we're living in a simulation is wish fulfillment for people unable to adopt a religion. Same with marxism for everyone who subscribes to it out of idealism and isn't using it as a straightforward power grab.

Flawed argument. You can't use the simulation itself to disprove the simulation. Simulations are inherently less complex than the system they exist in.

If I asked to recreate the game Half - life inside of Half - Life itself, you wouldn't be able to. That doesn't mean that our world doesn't exist.
