Only 15% of people have degrees

You would think 90% of people have degrees by the way they talk but only a small % of people have them.

Also he doesn't understand misc etiquette judging by his sig.

It should read "Put pitbull owners in jail for 10 years if their dog severely harms another personCREW". The 'CREW' addendum implies he is part of a non-existent, highly select group of people who echo these sentiments.

Still if you look at the stats that show a large portion drop out before finishing college, you’re automatically ahead of the population that doesn’t hold a degree

Not saying book smart strongly correlates with IQ though

I'd say it's all on what your ambitions are. Degrees don't really amount to much unless you're going for a job where it matters.

makes sense, 15% seemed way too low when employers are demanding a 4 year degree to be a secretary or janitor.

employers are a big part of the problem, they create demand for worthless degrees because they use HR to screen out ie throw away as many as possible job applications and that is the easy way to do it.

I'd say 95%+ of my coworkers have a degree and I make more than all of them without a BA. Make double what my coworker the same age as me makes. Pathetic LMFAO

I think that's more of a symptom. Why would an employer settle for a no-degree candidate when there's a glut of a college educated ones that would be willing to take the job? It implies at least some level of discipline, as otherwise dumb you may think their area of study is.

I’ve managed quite a few IVY graduates and Russell Group grads in my time. They are all dumb and I’m sure they paid for their degrees or are connected to some body and graduated thanks to donations.

With thanks,
