Many studies have been proven fake.

Look at the doctors who have been successfully treating thousands of patients with HCQ with a nearly 100% success rate.

Dude I told you that isn't how science works. You can't just have no control, observe improvement in people and conclude your therapy works.

It doesn’t mess with your heart when given short term like it would be for COVID-19. The risks are minimal and if people volunteer to take those risks what is it to you? We allow people to drink alcohol and smoke tobacco which also carry risks.

Twitter making sure they don't help get Trump re-elected.

By the left's definition, this is election meddling. I'm old enough to remember when the DNC thought a Russian Meme ******** page with a few thousand followers counted as election meddling.

Why does this drug look like a miracle until it’s clinically tested? Maybe it’s all a big pharma (who could make billions selling HCQ) purposefully deceiving everyone in the field on the results of the studies. Or maybe the drug simply isn’t the reason why some countries or patients have a lower fatality rate.

Because it's fake outrage.

They complain and then spend millions in advertising on same platforms.

It's all about money. Pharma make more money with a "new vaccine" rather than recycle some old medicine that has been around for a long time.

I ask for evidence and you post a video of an interview on a different subject? Lol.

And tell gilead and their $1.6 billion contract for remdesivir that there isn’t money to be made to repurpose existing drugs. I’m sure you believe the cure for cancer is hiding in one of these labs, too?

You won't find evidence because the powers that be won't allow it to be made available for public consumption. How are thousands of patients recovering with the use of HCL? Explain that one for me please.

Well I hear all the time how this is just the flu. Given the low fatality rate isn’t it more likely than not that these patients would recover with or without the drug? Explain that one for me please.

Republicans are really digging their heels in with the doctor who practices in a strip mall and thinks that health problems are caused by nightmare demon sperm, aren't they?
As the Daily Beast’s Will Sommer first noted, Immanuel has asserted that many gynecological issues are the result of having sex with witches and demons (“succubi” and “incubi”) in dreams, a myth that dates back at least to the “Epic of Gilgamesh,” a Sumerian poem written more than 4,000 years ago. She falsely claims that issues such as endometriosis, infertility, miscarriages and STIs are “evil deposits from the spirit husband.”

Furthermore, Sommer reported that in “a 2015 sermon that laid out a supposed Illuminati plan hatched by ‘a witch’ to destroy the world using abortion, gay marriage, and children’s toys, among other things, Immanuel claimed that DNA from space aliens is currently being used in medicine.” She also offered prayers through her website to remove generational curses transmitted through placenta.

The United States is #1 in the world with the most death from COVID-19. Compared to the hundreds of millions that make up the population that isn't a bad number all things considered. An estimated 80,000 people died from the flu in 2017. At the time, that a record high for the flu. At the very least, medication should be created to curb the suffering and reduce recovery time. At this point no one can actually say with 100% certainty the patients treated with HCQ (like that doctor that treated 2200 patients did) that it was the drug and not just her person's own immune system fighting off the virus. It is really hard to go against the male doctor that treated 2200 patients with only 4 patients dying and the black female doctor that treated 350 patients and no one died on her watch.

We already have the flu vaccination and people are still dying so I suspect that same will happen with COVID-19 each year no matter what.

Again, I defer to the clinical trials rather than the anecdotal support from two doctors whose own motivations I question.

I’m all for continued research with a focus on early administration of the drug. That would require improved testing capabilities which over 4 months in we are still struggling with. I would love for this drug to work and it would be great if we could find a way to have a treatment course available to anyone to take at the onset of symptoms. I just don’t see it happening.

I've already said, the claim is it works if you do it in combination with other drugs very early on in the virus.

The studies dont do it right and then call hydrochloroquin dangerous and thats nonsense.

retweeting a video on a potential treatment and a doctor's experience with a drug isn't getting people killed, you're aware of the dangers of censoring information under the guise of "it's for the good of the people" or "maybe it will get somebody killed" and that can be used to justify censoring almost any type of information, fkn lol. Off to CCP land you go if you want opposing views and dissent censored and the government telling you what dangerous and what isn't and what is for your own good.

Talking about censorship, and getting people killed, let's talk about WHO and China that claimed there is no human transmission of the virus.

The develop a study to “do it right”. If we can’t administer it correctly it in a study how could we expect to do so in the real world?

HCQ has side effects. It’s not necessarily dangerous, but it does have a few rare but scary side effects. They don’t matter much used to treat the chronic illnesses it’s known for because there is a clear benefit. But those risks are amplified if it provides no apparent benefit and the illness it’s trying to treat is already hard enough on organs.
