Texan here. Crawfish is great--- but Vietnamese Crawfish is the BOMB:

It has more flavor on top of the LA style and is so delicious (IMO). This is coming from a guy that use to think Seafood was disgusting and hated eating it when I was younger. I tried Crawfish and expanded into Viet-style Crawfish and have been eating it ever season.

Best to eat it during the season when the Crawfish are huge.

Any miscer that says "looks groce" and doesn't even want to try it is one of those *******s who sticks to eating chicken tendies at every restaurants like a little kid.

^not talking about people who are allergic to it and all.

I encourage misc to step out of it's comforts and try it sometime.

we? where do you eat yours?
I visit my family in BR and New Orleans every year and I CANNOT wait to get some crawfish and beer

We order them on here:http://www.lacrawfish.com/Live-Crawfish-C26.aspx

We put the seasoning in, vegetables, sausage, and sometimes we'll throw in shrimp and crab legs for a variety.

I like the taste, but I always felt that, despite their good taste, there isn't very much flavor in these, at all. That kind of defeats the purpose (and so does putting all kinds of sauces on them so you're only tasting the sauce).

It's easy when you get the hang of it. Pinch the end of the tail to break some of the connective stuff, then you can bite the tip of the meat hanging out and pull it out

Could be biased because I am Vietnamese but this is the only way to eat it. I've had the classic new orleans style too, it doesn't compare. Vietnamese much more flavorful and more heat.
