Don't need to track them since I make no gains.

not sure if srs

it just takes an extra minute or 2 to track the general rep progression every time you go in and for anyone who is serious about their workouts, it provides as a very useful tool to track their progress.

I use an app called "Rep Count" when I'm tracking religiously. I don't need to write down all the time because I can honestly remember most of my sets week to week, plus I train very instinctively.

tracking everything kinda made it feel like work instead of a hobby for me

of course, to each their own

I think it just depends on your personality. I crave the structure of planning out programming, tracking progression via notes, etc. Other people, such as yourself, not so much. That's just one of those things everyone has to try for themselves and see what works for them personally.

When I was going to the gym I used an app called 'fitlist.' Simple, basic, gets the job done.

+1 for this. Opened a new open when the gym shut down for covid and I had to switch stuff up.

Record them in a little notebook I take with me. Started doing this last year and have already filled one and am half way through my second now. It helps me track progress, plus i think it will be cool to be able to look back in a few years. It's a nice snapshot of where I was/am.

I log booked but it made me focus too much on beating the log book and sometimes sacrificing form or tempo

so now I just go in, give it my all, and add 5-10lbs as often as I can when I hit a certain amount of reps, and I am easily able to notice when I am progressing in reps/weight or going down without having to record it.
