Arizona was nice because of all the rocks. It was nice and peaceful.
I hate CA weather, it's sunny all the time. I want to experience 4 seasons especially winter in thermal underwear. More rain would be nice. I love it when it's cloudy and raining / overcast / legit anything but sunny 365 days a week.

If I don't want to have kids like nearly all of my friends don't, then yes I would live here. Thing is I want to have a family and hate living in the barrio. I do NOT want to have kids in my run down apartment being surrounded by people who only speak Spanish. While being afraid I will be charged with a felony due to all the changing stupid gun laws so I can't even protect myself.

Rent in ****ty apartments is 1500 for low end but realistically is 1800-3000 mostly floating in the higher end due to California only allowing luxury apartments to be built.

My AC hasn't worked in years and our rooms are falling apart and our maintenance just patches it up. For all I know my apartment is infested with mold. We just don't know it.

And commuting is 2 hours every day..so basically I wake up at 6 get to work at 7 leave at 4-8 depending on work then get home between 5-9. That life sounds like hell if I always worked late, which I don't fortunately.

Damn that ain't good. It's like they are endangered and you can't shoot them. I also read you can't shoot them if they are eating your pet. Something about that law doesn't agree with me.

In CA, the green is legal just not in public. But apartments ban it from being smoked in the residence. So what happens? Mexicans in the barrio smoke it outside. So everything smells like **** when you step outside.

I guess if you want to be miserable in the winter, you can come to Chicago. Mayor & DA is liberal as it gets so it'll feel just like home. Tons of accounting jobs as well.

Really though, don't do it brah.

I don't think you understand.

I don't want to move to a state that feels like home. I absolutely hate California and liberal politics in general. The redder the state the better.

At the time, when I was looking into states just based on housing and jobs. Illinois looked pretty good until I found it, it is run by communists. I mean I could own a mansion there, but do I really want to live under communist rule? Noped the way out.

It's like what North Korea does with it's fake shell building to try and lure South Koreans into defecting.

California fits that role. We give millions in support for illegal healthcare and Covid relief. They even get access to low income housing (that California keeps building) so I have to make poverty income to even live there. While most Californians get to pay $3000 rent to live in the suburbs.

I don't understand how someone can be so stupid that they vote liberal, then leave when the costs of liberalism become too much to handle. They should pass a law that if you are a registered Democrat or independent that you can't leave the state.

It's really expensive, and I've been saving for years. Fortunately rent for me is below market rate due to rent control. (Not that this is a good idea to begin with since this is directly responsible for the high prices in luxury apartments now)

I wanted to have enough to buy a house in cash just to make sure that I never have to come back to this horrible place.

I mean there is entertainment if you don't mind wasting your paycheck on it. Most of my entertainment is hanging with wife and listening to music together. So it really doesn't matter where we live, as long as it has internet connection and I live close enough to work, then anything works for me really.

Oh and the state can't be run by communists or "moderates".

I grew up most of my life in Orl and saw many alligators. Although they trap them and dump them in Lake Jessup now I’m pretty sure.

Seems like Dallas is the obvious choice for Texas. What about florida. How is Miami compared to the other cities in Florida? Can any floridians comment? Texas, north carolina, and florida will be the big winners in migration from Covid. It just seems like the economy is doing a lot better in Texas and North Carolina then Florida and probably will for quite some time.

Although I do like San Diego.

The only people who like the cities in CA are either the super rich who can afford it, or people living in poverty since they waste all their earnings in the city. People in the middle class like me don't live in the city. It's too damn expensive.

I am definitely thinking Texas, Oklahoma, or Kentucky at this point. Moreso the 1st 2.

Don't go to your new place and vote for the old place.
