I don't see anything wrong with a teen wearing crop tops in the summer, depending on how much cleavage it shows. Or shorts. Shorts with booty hanging out is a different story altogether and if I had a daughter no way would she ever be wearing them with my knowledge.

I agree with this. Even if it's a good guy, his head will turn if he sees a hanging butt cheek, even before he realizes the butt cheek owner is too young. But having normal tops and shorts is fine any age, we do not live in Afghanistan.

OP has clearly never been to a nightclub, rooftop, or lounge. They dress like that for these venues 99% of the time.
All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.

Depends on what one means by “harassment”.

If it’s just looks or glances, or guys coming up to approach, I would agree that isn’t a form of harassment that a girl should really complain about, particularly if she’s dressed provocatively.

But cat-calling, or being persistent/aggressive after a girl has rejected you, is a form of harassment that I think is justifiable for a girl to complain about, regardless of what the girl is wearing or how she’s dressed.

Educate yourself as to what "rape" actually is, before prescribing rules to avoid what - in many circumstances - is unavoidable. Because...rape is an act of violence, not sex. So it isn't about microskirts and heels; it is about violence against say, a woman in a parking lot working late one night. And there's only so much a woman should have to do to "prevent" something which is a horrible crime in the first instance.

This tendency of posters here to blame the victim of a violent crime and somehow insinuate that it may be because of how she was dressed...this isn't rural India we are talking about, or Saudi.
