He's exactly right. There's no way any containment is going to work at this point. China figured this out when the majority of their new cases came from home transmissions after lockdown. Grocery store, essential worker, pharmacy run, fill up with gas, LOL-good luck containing EVERYTHING. It's too late. I'm of the mindset this chit *is* serious, but consider the larger picture. We have hellacious unemployment right now. What do people lose when they don't have a job? Yeah, I know you guessed it cos you are concerned-health insurance. What are people putting off right now? Elective procedures. Like cancer treatment. And heart surgery. Good chit. The kinda stuff that leads to longer lifespan you know? We're also suffering a massive mental health crisis, totally unrelated, but definitely gonna get exacerbated by this damn virus. How we gonna treat this with no job nor insurance? Big issues right now. Poverty kills, these lockdowns are only prolonging the worst affects with negligible benefit, probably none.
