This was on an episode of Law and Order once. The guy that Elliot saved was bleeding out everywhere and he got covered in blood. Turns out the guy tested positive for HIV, and they ordered tests for Elliot. Then he ended up testing negative for the disease.

If he does have it, then lol at the people attacking him, probably won't transmit the disease. But if he didn't have it and he lied, smart move.
