So here is the gist of it...jist of it? gist doesn’t have squiggly red lines while jist does. I think my gut feeling is probably accurate.

No where, did either media source make any claim that specific video was taken at any specific location or time. They simply played a video while discussing a certain topic and you the viewer conclude that it must be where and when they are talking about.

But that is on you the viewer. Not the media.

This is no way shape or form a new concept, has nothing to with COVID specifically, despite whatever this one YT guy wants to believe, wants you to believe.

This happens everyday in media.

Now you are aware. Conspiracy over.

You are right in that it is intentionally misleading through suggestion, but again, the blame is just as much on the viewer for making the assumption.

It probably has a lot more to do with things like the money it takes to film on site at hospitals, the legalities of getting a camera into a hospital like that, but regardless, it is still the viewer making the assumption that the video being shown is some type of actual documentation of what is being discussed. That is 100% on the viewer.

The media companies are aware of this natural assumption and run with it. Obviously.

Usually one thread ends up in religion and politics if its political and one on the normal misc. If it's not political, just one thread. I don't make 300 threads a day but I definitely respond to other peoples threads. Also I don't know how to do the multi quote thing, I was trying to figure it out but you explaining it would be awesome lol.

My point is they didn’t even need to put any video in there at all. It is meaningless filler. It might as well be cute puppies playing together. It is nothing more than stock footage.

Do you use mobile or are you posting from your PC?

If you're on mobile you'll have to copy/paste replies. It takes a bit longer. Multiquote doesn't really work there so you'll have to just copy/paste all the replies you want to respond to.

If you're on PC, just click the button right next to reply. It's a little word bubble with a tiny red dot next to it. If you click it, the dot turns green. Highlight any posts you want to quote, and then click the respond button. It'll populate the text box with all the posts you wanted to respond to.
