This opens up the conversation; I wouldn't know how many are grouped in there or which reports you're reading that claim 10 million. I only make claims that I am responsible for. For the record, education anywhere in the west of China is horrible, and so is security. Not to mention the religious education in mosques in Xinjiang, which some of are being vacated and demolished.

About evidence, let me preface with this; I don't believe a single country on this earth is sanctimonious, if a humanitarian issue happens to line-up with their interests, they will use it to its best effect (The USA's interest being to disqualify China, its rival on many fronts). So any evidence that comes out to light will be in the attempt to dissuade the public opinion. Having said that, the most legitimate evidence seems to have been that document leaked a few months ago (whether by an intelligence agency or by china's own ranks), it's a CCP manual of sorts on the camps. You think it's only OP's CIA gimmick that happened, that's understandable, since this is the only thing you heard about. I encourage you to look more, make up your critical thought.

There're a lot of news outlets that reported on said leaked manual; I'll link one, but you can choose your favorite news agency and watch their report on it; they're all essentially reporting the same information. Again the goal is to delegitimize China, they don't give a sh!t about those muslims)

The problems with education and security in the region are exactly what the CCP is trying to solve. The vast majority of uyghurs in the region cannot speak Mandarin (or even any chinese dialect). How do you expect to receive a decent education when you can't speak the language of the country you live in? Through these education camps, the Chinese government prioritizes the acquisition of Chinese language skills and a skilled trade that the uyghur citizens can then use to secure stable employment with.

The issue with security and violence in the region is a result of China's failure to assimilate the uyghurs in the past. This is what the CCP is currently trying to remedy. You have to understand the history of Central Asia; Take a look at other nations in the region, like Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Before they were absorbed into the soviet union, the people were illiterate, uneducated, and prone to extremism. Through the Soviet Union's reeducation efforts (which is what China currently bases their model off of), they completely transformed the region. All of the former soviet countries in central asia today are secular, highly educated, safe nations.

Trying to distort China's efforts to assimilate ethnic minorities into "concentration camps" and claiming they're "worse than guantanamo" is laughable.
