It’s a great watch. I use mine when training for triathlons. Also, it’s a great when I’m out golfing and can track my data. I use it to monitor my sleep patterns, track my Heart Rate Variability to see if I’m close to overtraining, take calls without my phone, play music without my phone, and a ton of other things.

Garmin also makes great watches for training, some would say better than Apples, but I enjoy the versatility that the Apple Watch provides.

There’s a good chance I’ll be picking up a Series 6 when it comes out next month.

the versatility
It's mainly these. Having a watch on your wrist is waaay better than carrying your phone around everywhere.
I'm to old for this chit.

No, I have the series 4. I’ll probably upgrade to the 6 depending on what features it will have.

I think I’ve spent $15 on bands. The original band wasn’t the best for running and kept losing my heart rate, so I switched to a light fabric strap and it’s worked great.

I have my gfs old one since she got a new one. Mine has no cellular data but as long as my phone is close enough by it works fine. It’s the most convenient thing ever. Never pulling my phone out of pocket again for text. Can answer calls on the watch. Turn music on phone, change songs and volume.

The Apple Watch bands are so expensive it’s stupid but Walmart has $10 one if you ever wanna swap

Just lmao at strapping a monitoring device to your wrist that is uploading data about you 24/7. I would never buy or wear one, but I have also noticed that everyone has one now.

I quit wearing watches for years , then decided to get the Apple Watch 4 . I used to work in bucket trucks ,and dropped my phone from 30’ once .
Having cell service on my watch lets me leave my phone in the truck , which I find extremely handy considering a replacement phone is a couple grand.
Also my Apple Watch may have saved my life . I was feeling light headed and went for a nap, when all of the sudden my watch started vibrating .
I looked at the screen and it indicated that my heart rate doubled and that it had not monitored any activity in the last five minutes .
Went to emerg , and they threw a ton of pills down my throat to slow things down before I had a stroke .
So in my case I have no regrets buying one , although I think their overpriced.

I’ve had a few lols at stores also, as their wondering why your holding your hand over the interact machine .
Apple pay via your watch is just way too easy

This.

I hated wearing watches and thought they were always nothing more than a power/fashion piece. However, I work in an aggressive field and break stuff all the time. I got the Apple Watch as a christmas gift and honestly it's great. I have a screen protector on it and a heavy duty bumper case so I can't break it. It's convenient for work as I get texts, emails, and calls through the watch and I can answer them while leaving my phone in my pocket. I use it in the gym since it holds my music and I don't need my phone on the gym floor. I use it for training in regards to running, steps, distances, etc. Then I use it for just about everything else, which is pretty much anything I can imagine.

Definitely has made my life a lot easier, and if anything it has caused me to not pick up my phone like 75 percent of the time and get distracted. If I get a notification, I check my watch and if it's really important, then I check my phone, otherwise I put my wrist down and keep going on.
