Couples who 'date' for 5 years or more
What are your thoughts on this crap? Specifically I mean young people. Most of the time they end up breaking up with nothing to show for all that time. Statistically these kind of relationships end up in higher divorce rates if they do decide to marry.
If she doesn't let you knock her up within 6 months, and you can't decide that you want to marry her in that time, it ain't going no where pal.
If a couple of weeks is good enough to be committed for life in the 3rd world, you don't need multiple years *******s.

Who cares if there is an end goal. Some people enjoy each others' company. Unlike you. You seem miserable and nobody wants to be around you.

I just can't understand 'loving' someone without an end goal. seems more miserable then being by yourself.

IDK if a woman exists who won't eventually start putting pressure on their guy in some way or another to "commit".
The whole "life partner" agreement or whatever that would be called also ain't ****, let alone anywhere near common.
If some people are willing to cheat while being married, I doubt not being married would somehow magically curtail that.

Causation vs correlation. Couples who was together longer are more likely to get divorced probably because they got married for the wrong reasons i.e settling, afraid to go back out there (like people who become lifers on temp jobs), canโt find anyone else.
I would have married this girl on the first 3 months of dating and she the same, I didnโt because I wanted us to gain financial freedom first. Havenโt had kids yet for the same reasons.
Not on birth control, pull out technique crew.

Whats the point if marriage? You can still be together for 10+ years and no paper tying you up
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.
-I'd rather live life saying "I failed" than "I could have"

She went on birth control for a couple of months first year of dating (I went doc with her) but she went off it because:
1) it was making her sick, she always felt **** and after sex sheโd feel nauseous.
2) was killing her sex drive. Was sexing 3-4 times a week but considering it was the first year, we could feel it was slowing down that drive.
I do wonder how many women and relationships are negatively affected by the pill and they donโt even know it. That **** literally fks up with your bodyโs hormones, a good portion has to have negative reactions!

I would say that the vows you make and the paper tying you up is also part of the commitment - the idea is itโs supposed to be forever.

OP is actually correct, if she's not at the very least talking about having a family within a matter of months she doesn't deem you worthy and will certainly quit on you, it's only a matter of time.
Any woman that is taking birth control while in a relationship with you, sees no future with you or doesn't want a family.
Either way that makes her a mistake.

If she cheats, why would she get alimony, that's ridiculous anyhow.

The reason the "honeymoon phase" lasts about 6 months is because that's how long Oxytocin(hormone that creates the feeling of love) is being distributed, it starts dwindling steadily after that point(natures way of saying move on to the next vagina).
3,4,5 years down the line and you're basically just annoying the chit out of each other as glorified roommates without a family setting.
You need to make a decision while you're both deeply "in love", if she sees you as worthy she will try to have your child or at the very least stop birth control.

lol at marriage. there is a reason divorce rates are higher than ever. maybe marriage will be worth it once the laws change and she can't take half your sh*t whenever she decides to leave for whatever reason. until then don't married. yes the idea of marriage is great and being married to the right person is amazing but that is slim to none if you expect it to last a life time
whoever created the divorce rules didn't take into account women leaving men at that time.
kids on the other hand and being together 10+ years. that's weird
