California wants to remove the law that bans racial and gender discrimination

“Proposition 16 is a California ballot proposition that will appear on the November 3, 2020 general election ballot, asking California voters to amend the Constitution of California to repeal 1996's Proposition 209.[2][3] Proposition 209 prohibits the state from discriminating against, or granting preferential treatment to, any individual or group on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in the operation of public employment, public education, or public contracting.[4]”



Imagine being against racism so bad that you end up being racist. I've seen a lot of people for whatever reason say they plan on voting Yes which basically means they want to be able to discriminate in California.

Doesnt matter if the law is in place or not. Its the same thing, a colored skin person is viewed as different by a white person, a female is viewed as an opposite sex by a male. Reality wont change.

That and so more black people can get into colleges. I think the main end goal is affirmative action. Problem is affirmative action doesn't work and helps no one. Like they get more jobs or whatever, but people will then realize that you only got the job cause they lowered the standard cause they don't think you are smart enough.

People want equal outcome rather than equal opportunity which is stupid.

Not to jump on the racist bandwagon, but I'll tell you this preferential treatment shyt IS racism straight up. Have you guys seen grad school and med school admissions requirements by race? It's honestly embarrassing. Affirmative action shouldn't be a thing. They should work to help people in other ways.

Nah, no one actually gets a job because of AA, unless a BS position is made to seem woke that is, which is why every company has a chief diversity officer now. Doesn't really get used for school either, since most of the ghetto people don't even bother to try to educate themselves. They're trying to repeal the law so whites can discriminate against other whites, and then brag to other whites about how woke they are.
