I regretted my serious relationships when I was younger. I should have just enjoyed more pussy. (not that I can get a lot back then when I was young and a dork)

I had some good times with 2 of my serious gfs but I felt like I wasted many years looking back.

if she's still sane and likeable after 3 years, and the sex is the same, then sure.

and i truly believe the sex should be the same, before anyone says it gets less after the honeymoon period. If you're living together (another precursor to marriage) you should still be fukking every day. if not one of you is doing something wrong
Sex every day lol? Even if we could find the time and energy, I wouldn't even want to, it would be too much. Putting an exact number on it is dumb, as long as you are both content with the amount of sex, there shouldn't be an issue. Of course the problem is a lot of couples disagree on what a normal amount is or one party changes thier idea over time.

Maybe they just want to be more settled financially before paying for a wedding?

Just lol if you put a ring on it before living together for at least 3 years.

You dont see home someone truly lives until you get ~2 years into living with each other.

A lot of times its like a new honeymoon phase, people try their best for a while, then fall back to old habits.

Also havr to see how yhey manage bills, sharing, etc.

You have to date for atleast 3 years

It’s shown that after 2 years people tend to change in relationships and is a good indicator if you’ll grow together or apart.

I have a couple of friends that started dating their GF but right from the start they weren't that into them. Every year it always crossed their mind that they're going to breakup but one thing happens after another. Maybe the girl guilt trips them, they don't want to break the girl's heart, pregnancy, too many common friends, part of the family, get comfortable, guy gets fat and can't get other girls anyway (same for reverse) - basically, each year keeps passing by and they're together and staying together for all the wrong reasons, and because they know its for the wrong reasons, they can't fully commit.

Friend met his girl at 24, broke up with her at 29. Now she's just bitter, took that peak.

And for those saying you don't need a piece of paper to commit, true. But let's say it would make your partner happy, then by the same token, why would a piece of paper hurt? I think that's just a get out excuse, truth is you don't want to be tied down which is what the piece of paper does, and being that tied down is part of the commitment, it's not really much of a commitment if it's that easy to get out of.

Another unpopular opinion I have is I don't believe in pre-nups. If you suspect that you and your wife who both vowed to be together "till death do us part" may someday get divorced, then that vow and promise is pretty empty to begin with. Either be sure or don't go through it at all. If you're not sure, if you have a hint of doubt, don't do it.
Because most women change the day they get married.

They no longer feel like they have to try or impress you anymore

If you stay unmarried they know they have to hold up their end of the bargain.

Not how it works.

What you had before marriage is still yours.

3 years is enough time to get passed the honeymoon phase and see if you can actually tolerate each other. Thats when the challenge begins. Rushing into it is a bad idea. I dont care about your family member or friend that got married a month after dating and are still together. People have been shot in the head and survived. Doesn't mean you can.

I dont see anything wrong with people dating and not getting married. If they are happy with each other then its none of your business. If things dont work out they can go their own way without a messy divorce and fighting over assets.

Thats the issue with people these days, they think everyone should be living how they think people should.

I know plenty of couples like the ones described in the OP .Its hard to pull the trigger nowadays when you have 10 Chads or Stacies in your DMs. Its always exciting when you meet a totally new person with a totally different personality...

Thats why there are so many monkeybranches nowadays too. Nobody wants to be single but nobody wants to get married either, unless 100% sure. Back in the day by the 5th date the dude would make up his mind lol
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

The best chance you have at keeping a young woman is hulking smashing her cuck-making-pills & keeping her full of your seed during ovulation periods

Baby = family environment = bond

You make or break the relationship in the first year always

Not really, you're just marrying the wrong person if you think she'll change because she has a ring on her finger. You should know your woman well enough to know if she will have your back always, and same thing applies to guys. It's a similar argument to:

"people get fat once they're in relationships", "you argue more when you live together", "you fall out of love after the honeymoon phase and start getting annoyed more with each other". Not really, the people who do that are just the people who do that, some don't. Your job is to figure out who she is.

Never understood divorce. Literally, all my uncles, parents, grandparents, 0 divorces and I have 10+ uncles/aunties. Same with my cousins. It's just culture.

Been with my girl for many years. She is in engineering and failed a couple courses then took a short break to work in IT to find it sucked. No ring until she graduates srs.

She gets that so it keeps her incentivized to finish. I’ll just keep stacking paper till then with my side hustle.

I agree! What a waste of time dating someone that long. Totally reeks of not being able to find someone better. If you’re guy not sure about the whole marriage/babies thing I would say you haven’t met the right woman yet and in the back of your mind you’re asking yourself if she’s good enough. Which most women aren’t. Can I get a hell yeah brothers?
