I think copying a communist countries method of dealing with a virus is fully potato.

Lockdown=unemployed=boredom=rioting.

More people have died in riot violence this year than the number who died in 2019 within the very cause the protests are supposedly against.

We are not even close to Chinese methods. Assuming that is who you were referring to.

And again, Fauci makes the recommendations and advises. He has no decisive authority in it. Fauci has literally nothing to do with the riots. They are completely outside of his scope.

Chauvin I guess. It doesn’t solely fall on him. He’s a cawksucker, but I place more blame on the media for instigating the fallout.

This question is basically covid lockdowns vs. riots. I strongly believe the riots will have caused more longer lasting damage to this country than anything related to Coronavirus.

The lockdowns will be lifted. The country will open. Covid will fade away. The economy will eventually rebound. We’re looking at a return to normalcy within 1-3 years and that’s being extremely pessimistic.

However the damage to race relations will likely NEVER be undone. Because of the Floyd backlash, BLM, media manipulation and everything surrounding these events, we now have an entirely new generation of racist people who will hold those views for the rest of their lives. American cities have been destroyed. Blacks and whites distrust each other more now than since the civil rights era. This chit will be deeply ingrained in people for decades. I cannot even begin to imagine the long term issues this will cause in America.

It honestly breaks my heart, but the Chauvin incident fuked us way more than a virus ever could.
