Didn't read article, but the reason we age are because we have telomere caps on our dna that decrease and eventually make us die. Biblically this DNA manipulation is when in bible it says man shall not live past whatever days, I think it was the tower of babel story and ancient summerian history its said to have been manipulated when humans were living too long for the entities mascarading as gods.

There will be a time where they will be "selling life" to people who can afford the treatments to extend, delay the shrinking or etc of the caps so people can live longer.

Have you used hydrolyzed collagen supplements? They claim you can see it's supposed anti aging effects on skin in a few months.

I take collagen in powder form. It can be mixed in coffee so it's convenient. Again, I have no idea if it's doing anything..

As I understand it humans are balanced between growth and decay. Our telomeres get shorter over time and we decay. But without that "stop" signal/ off switch cells can just grow and grow (cancer).I believe that health extension is an uncomplicated good- all upside. Life extension is a bit trickier, not so much because of what wincel is worried about (parents supplanting their own children), but because it will probably be for sale to the wealthiest first and maybe always.

The "too many humans" problem will get solved some way or other. Countries with widespread female education and available birth control have lower birth rates. So-called first world countries are already falling under the rate of replacement. We are expected to peak in 2064.

Extended health during a period when the population skews towards more old than young would be a very good thing. And maybe life extension starts to come online in the same period and could be fairly widespread as our numbers start to decline from the peak.

Or we could just self-destruct.
