Why is it that guys are called desperate, but women usually aren’t??

2 Saturday’s ago slept with a girl in class that had a crush on me, it wasn’t intended to, wont give full details, but earlier in the year I told her it can’t work and friends is best. Anyway she texted me like last Wednesday at night asking to come over, I told her no, us hooking won’t be a thing. She asked me why, I said it will just complicate things. She says “ok, whatever you think is best, but sex isn’t complicated, we will just be fcking”. So Saturday a group of us go out, and we are returning home on the metro, and she says to me and I quote “I’m disgustingly horny right now, should I go home or come over” I told her go home. Now let’s reverse the roles, if a man did that he would be called desperate, a loser, only interested in sex, and so on. Earlier last week I told another girl that I don’t want to have a fwb situation, she video called me asking why can’t we just be fwb and if I get a gf she would back off. Smh.

I’ve actively been friend zoning all fwb as I am tired of meaningless sex with girls I have no connection with.

According to my father, this is how things used to be. Somewhere in the last 25 years, the tables were turned.

Apparently lockdowns from COVID and social distancing were just enough to remove all of the upper hand that females enjoyed. This is good, because there were genuinely some females who were beginning to take it for granted(and thirsty guys certainly didn't help it).
