Gamers truly are retarded.

Spending $100s on virtual currency to buy virtual items only to do the same thing for each annual release. Game Developers making billions in profits on Microtransactions alone. Was at the barbershop and some guy was complaining how his kid spent $100 on his credit card on NBA 2k.

oldcels remember when all games PS2 era and earlier came out in complete versions with no patches, very few glitches and no expansions, microtransactions all that chit. Even PC games from that era usually worked right. Now you can pay them for the privilege of being a beta tester.

Gaming is entertainment. Some people choose to spend their money on that particular form of entertainment.

Back when I was playing WoW (8 years ago, maybe), all I needed to do was stay in one night playing instead of going out and I made my $15/ month back. Otherwise, I'd prolly be dropping $30-50 at the bar.

I'm not a big micro-transaction guy, but my son plays Fortnite, and I don't mind giving him 5 bucks every now and again for some V-bucks.

I’ve been a pc gamer since diablo 2 came out.. have NEVER paid for that micro transactions skins/maps/loadouts/w.e bull**** in my life.

I also don’t play any games that you need to pay to win.

Gaming is just about the cheapest hobby you can possibly have, aside from lifting (assuming you aren’t going full on cell tech)
