Diversity and inclusion

My company finally sent the email. They want diverse and inclusive "ambassadors" that will hold meetings occasionally. I am strongly considering asking for the meetings to be recorded and made available to every employee so that "we all know what more we can do" but really the intent is to water down the rhetoric of the meeting so no drastic hr decisions are made, knowing everyone is listening. Should i do it or not? Better to be grey man in this instance?

You might as well just resign now, they'd aim you directly in the cross-hairs if you said that. HR always does their bidding behind closed doors.

As much as it sucks an employee you can be easily replaced. If you openly go against what HR and senior management is trying to do behind closed doors you're essentially painting a huge target on your back. Once they see that you could potentially become a problem they'll start the process of trying to be rid of you.

Remember most HR departments will peddle diversity & inclusion whether by personal choice or out of fear as being labelled racist (which can be extremely damaging to a company unfounded as it may be.)
