This dude came up to me at the gym and wanted to speak to me about my form. I was delighted as I am possessed of an abundance of natural humility and also because I am an eager student. He was at least a decade younger than me, but I love to learn from anyone with knowledge. It's how I stay at the top of my game.
He showed me a number of interesting tips and I was imagining all the different sexual positions we'd be trying at some point. Then he made a mistake which turned me cold. He pointed to another gym member who was benching an impressive weight. In a voice loud enough to be heard across the gym, he said, "That guy is not doing it right, you should never try to lift that much." His tone was dismissive and pompous, as if the impressive lifter was a total fool for challenging himself in the exact manner that the legendary Arnold himself has instructed body builders to do. It was hard to believe that anyone could be so rude to another lifter. I decided to ditch my new little friend so, I hopped on the stair mill and cordially invited this youth with me. After ten minutes, he had to go away, perhaps to vomit.

Misogyny is when a man beats his wife, or when he does not allow her to vote. How do you not understand that there are women alive today who literally can't walk down the street because there are no police in their countries to keep them safe? The worst part about it is that they both have the appropriate safeties and equipment, but refused to set them appropriately.

And then, who publishes this? If I ever forgot to set my safeties and looked like an ass with my face smashed by a barbell, I just wouldn’t publish the video.

Yes, too wide for her J hook height setting. That’s why she could not re-rack it even though she did lock out.

And that’s why, to answer the question above, she didn’t just say she missed the rep, because she really didn’t. She just made a mistake with her equipment (both the j hook height and safety arm height). If that was a powerlifting meet, that would’ve been a good rep and her spotters would’ve grabbed the bar and helped her back in with it.

it's not actually set wrong, it's one of those chitty racks that the safety doesn't actually connect to the upright where you rack the bar, like this:

not the first video i've seen of someone crushing their face for that exact same reason, they try and jam it back into the rack and the bar finds its way between the upright and the safety

Yeah, I would never buy a rack that you couldn’t adjust the J hooks and/or the safety arms. That’s just dangerous and stupid.

this is a clearer example of one of those retarded racks. If you fail the rerack the bar is going to go in between.

Indeed. I don't want to get banned though. I love it when serious lifters come to the gym. It changes everything. There's a whole new feel to the gym when a beast lumbers inside.

I don't think I could bench 95 when I first started lifting. I remember being pumped when I could finally do 135 for reps even though I work out at home with small hole weights.
