Question for brahs 6'5+ with good physiques

do you guys need to eat absurds amount of food to grow (forcing yourself to eat at times)? i'm 6'6 240ish and i eat ALOT by most standards, regular people are always mind-fcked at the amounts of food i eat but then we obviously don't have the same appetite, i've grown well the first 2-3 years of lifting even though my frequency of training, diet and sleep weren't where they needed to be (i've been working to correct that recently), however i've plateaued pretty hard and i wonder if this is due to me needing to eat more than just when i'm hungry, i get good sleep most days, i eat the right foods, train hard and as soon as a muscle group recovers i'll hit it again (i do PPL) but i feel like my progress is not what it could/should be, any tips?

i would work on being lean not big. calories should prob be 15 x target body weight. protein 1 gram per pound of target body weight. get some walking in. add in an extra day of lifting. good luck!

6'6 in this bish

Roughly speaking maintaining is around 3000-3500 calories depending on activity levels, gaining at any reasonable pace usually puts me closer to 4000.

find an athlete or a celebrity that's about your size with the body you want. then find out his diet and workout routine and copy it.

Eat, sleep, workout more? Nah bra. You know you're missing 1 ingredient and its not more scoops of protein with your oats.

i've been on there already bro lol like i said i've looked at what these guys are doing so i kind of have a solid idea of what to do overall, it's just the AMOUNT of food i'm not sure about, like whether i should eat at times even when i'm not very hungry or not hungry at all, i know Wilder and many other pro athletes or bodybuilders do that but they're also on all kinds of other sh*t that might affect that, idk if as someone that's natural it's optimal to stuff your face even when you're not feeling hungry

In only 6’3 but maintaining my weight is a constant struggle.

Im not a big eater at all but my trick is I drink like half my calories, a big shake in the morning and another one in the evening, been working fine so far and its way easier since I dont have to eat so much during the day

drinking calories definitely sounds like a really good plan you used a mass gainer?

i feel dumb but i never thought about putting my oats (or anything other than the powder) in my shakes but that sounds genius lol especially for days when i'm not super hungry, will add that to my routine, i'd like putting raw eggs in too but im afraid if theres some fcked up sh*t in there that would've been killed off by cooking them im gonna get sick as fck

Yes, eat more and workout harder.

My dad is your same height. When he was 53 he decided to push himself to get a 315lb bench. Just added in whole milk and pb&Js to his diet along with his typical meals. He grew like a weed. Benched 315lb like it was nothing at 53 at 6'7 245lbs. Now of course 315 is warm up weight on the misc, but this was years after not working out at all.

Just start pushing things. Get raw whole milk if you can and add that in. Start by adding 1 thing extra to your diet, then each week or two add a little more to that. So keep eating what you are, then add in like 1 pb&J or shake at night. Do that for a week or two, then when you start to acclimate to that, make it 1 glass of whole milk and a pb&J. Or if you want a cleaner approach use whole foods like oatmeal and eggs, etc.

Tons of ways to gain weight. It is difficult because I struggle with it. Don't have a huge appetite naturally. But I'm only 6'2 and not 6'7 so I can't really say much

Also look up Tom Haviland. He's 6'8. He's on the sauce, but here's a video giving you some idea of how to get calories in. This was years ago, but he now is like 365lbs and eats 11k calories a day.

yeah Id avoid eggs, that shake alone is like ~50g protein so theyre really not needed imo
