I get the impression that you spend a lot of time tormenting yourself over where you want to be and very little time toward making a start (no matter how small). It’s like you wanna write an amazing work of fiction but you’re so daunted by the scale of it that you never actually get around to writing the first page.

Just write the first page, then the next page, then the page after that. ****, if that’s too much then make it the first 100 words, then the next 100, etc.

For what it’s worth, I have the same problem, but I have found success in scaling back my time frame.

Try and catch yourself whenever your mind drifts towards your pessimistic outlook of the future and put a stop to it by focussing on something in the present that needs your attention.

I just think what I want out of life isn’t the norm though. I never wanted to live the cliched typical boring working Monday-Friday job that the vast majority do. Most people seem to just get jobs in certain fields because they feel they have to. Basically no one ever tries to achieve their dream job & just get something their content with. They think they have to have the wife & kids life with the typical job. Nothing wrong with that but I always expected more for my own life. I’d just feel like I’m wasting my life working a job that I’m forced to do but not because I enjoy it. I’m probably asking for too much out of life & it’s too unrealistic. I feel I put myself in a bad place where I’m expecting too much out of myself but at the same time I’ll never be okay working the typical boring work week type of job.

It's just crazy man i see people talking all the time but it's never about anything interesting. It's just boring stuff and even they look bored talking about the same things all day. I'm an observer so i see how people act too and i swear most people are so annoying. 2014 was the last time i met anyone i wanted to talk to. I can't believe it's been 6.5 years. Like how is this possible?

Time just moved on without us I suppose. What the typical person likes today doesn’t appeal to me at all anymore. Everything that I used to like just isn’t anywhere as good anymore. Whether it’s wrestling or movies or gaming, etc. Everything hit its peak from the 80s-00s decades or before. People just like boring **** these days, at least to me they are.

I barely watch it anymore either. AEW also is trash in my opinion. Wrestling fans waited for almost 20 years for a real alternative on a mainstream network & we wind up with some show that caters just to wrestling marks. The ratings they get are horrible. Gaming can still be good but for like 90% of the games that come out I feel like I’ve played them already. Not many shred new ground anymore.

Yeah AEW is poverty and it takes years for organizations to grow. How WWE is right now is how everything else feels man. Like it's the same show happening with nothing new/exciting/groundbreaking happening.

I'm very depressed. My whole life is falling apart. I'm about to get evicted out of my house and have nowhere to go. I'm broke. I feel like no one loves me anymore. I feel like I'm just a burden on my family and with that said I've been having suicidal thoughts. I feel so alone and lonely in my fuked up life. All I feel besides sadness is anger, a lot of anger. I've been having violent nightmares and everyday have visions of killing people who have done me wrong. I'm on medication for my mental illness. But, its not working the way it used to. I just don't know what to do anymore or where to turn to for help. My life has been nothing but suffering and pain from the time I was born to now. I feel like my youth was taken away from me when I was growing up due to the physical abuse I took day in and day out for years.

I don't want to be here anymore. If I died I wouldn't have to worry about anything. The burden of me being here would be gone. I would no longer be suffering and be in pain mentally and emotionally since id be at peace after I die.

I just don't care anymore..

Can you muster up $250?

Mindbloom.co not sure if they serve your state or not. But there is real medicine out there that actually works in hours. And not working in some kind of subtle minute way, but working in a way that your mindset and subjective feeling will do a 360 and walk away in a matter of hours

Wish I had friends. Wish I had my best friend back. Fuk I feel so alone. I used to be a virgin and that was my #1 worry but I always had friends, now it’s the opposite, idc as much about girls, I’ve dated and hooked up with women, drunkenly banging my best friends crush is why he isn’t my friend anymore. Still feel like an ******* for it, apologized and everything but a 16 year long friendship is now burnt.

Without friends I won’t be getting any girls either though so it’s a nice double whammy lol

The anxiety that I will never be socially extroverted enough to find friends and meet women is taking me to a very dark place and it scares me.

I need a hobby or something, I need something to talk about because the biggest reason I don’t talk to people is that I’m afraid I’ll have nothing to say about my life. It’s a boring life.

Isolation will ruin you. But there isn't anything to talk about these days. My body has put up a defense mechanism because all i hear people talk about is netflix or food.

You can have radical changes in your mindset and the tracks that your thoughts take. It will completely pull you out of your pattern and allow you to take a new perspective.

I just don’t feel confident about my ability to make new friends for some reason. I feel socially incompetent now. I talk to people and when they start talking about their social life’s and the things they do with their friends I instantly lose confidence because I realize I can’t relate any of my own experiences anymore. It also sucks knowing there is no way for me to land a gf or date attractive girls if I have no friends or social life. Plus I feel like my life is boring and I barely have anything to talk about anyway

I feel extremely lonely and negative and it’s kind of scaring me how unhappy I am
You know, I broke up with my gf 2 weeks ago and I've realized that she was my entire social life. I don't talk to my friends anymore, nor my family. Not sure how I'm going to deal with this situation myself - probably get a new gf if possible since I honestly don't want normie friends and all my old friends are normies now or are trying to act like normies.

Luckily I live in a city full of young people. People are walking around, standing in line at stores etc all over the place, so I guess I could cold approach although I've never done that before. Maybe I will wait for schools to reopen and meet someone in the same subject that I'm in... but that will be over a year from now... through college sloots always made it super obvious if they wanted me to ask them out to the point that many times they would ask me out and get it over with. But they have a harder time doing that when I'm not in regular forced proximity to them due to classes. I've also always assumed that if a girl doesn't make it super easy for you then they aren't interested.

Oh, and I just found a bug in my apartment because I'm a ****ing child that doesn't clean frequently enough.

Dunno why I'm posting this here lol I guess because I was an FA once and the last time I had a problem like this I posted about it in threads like these.

That particular group is in like 7 states or so. I know there's NY, NJ, PA, CA, and I think FL.

There's in person clinics just about everywhere now but that's more expensive.

Generally I think they just want your money. The screen you need to pass is two different failed attempts at treatment, i.e. a couple of drugs, a drug and talk therapy, etc.

Yeah, it sucks man. My moods & anxiety are just a rollercoaster everyday. I literally never know how I’m going to feel each hour. Just late at night is the only time where I function more normally on a regular basis.

I mean if i had people to fuking talk to and somewhere to hang out i wouldn't feel like this but it's like there is no way to integrate back into society now days. Quiet men are at the bottom of society in the social media age. It sucks ass.

As soon as people realize you are quiet it's over imo.

They will take you outside of yourself. Nothing could be better if you are neurotic and stuck in a cycle of self absorbed hatred and angst.

Imagine going for a walk and actually taking in the information from your senses. There's birds, there's smell to the grass, I can smell that rubbery water garden hose smell from a sprinkler. You feel the breeze, you feel the sun, everything is so ****ing quiet. Mind gets turned out and you get to feel in the moment for a bit almost like a child.

I just want it to last. It seems to get better and become more reinforced the more that the regimen continues

If it is depression that is holding you back, that's not out of the question. More motivation for activity, more engaged with life, more social events, more opportunities to succeed.

If it's anxiety, autism, or ugliness that's holding you back, then no it probably won't help that. But you may feel less like killing yourself despite not having a girlfriend

So far, very mild improvements. But nothing significant. I'm convinced there is no treatment for social anxiety that lasts more than a few hours.

Same exact thing with girls here. I never approach, I just talk to girls and eventually they make it obvious they are interested, and if they don't I assume they aren't. It works but I feel like it really limits our options, if I was out there actively seeking out girls to talk to and showing interest then I would probably have more options. Then again I feel like showing interest in a girl too son or before you know she is interested is kind of cringy in a way, and would turn many girls off. maybe it is just better to wait until you know forsure she is into you.

I've recently applied to join a fraternity (co ed business frat not a party frat and not a party school either) and I'm hoping to meet some friends/girls there

Also I used to be FA as well, I thought once I started getting laid all my problems would fade, just lol. Although I am definitely happy I've been somewhat successful with women these past few years. If I was in my situation now and still a virgin I would probably be in a much worse state mentally.
