They get it my dude. There is a neg feature on this forum for a reason. Sometimes someone says something so dumb, so offensive, or espouses ideas that are so dangerous and stupid that they get a digital slap up the side of their head. Even on a website as provocative and degenerate as the Misc there can be consequences for your words.

Men have been getting knocked out for their words for centuries. That is not going to change. You throw a man sized tantrum in a public space there is a chance you're going to encounter someone at least just as careless and offensive as yourself. Sometimes you encounter someone that is worse.

Normal people will go on with their life not thinking much of it because they know that freedom of speech does not mean freedom to tyrranize people with your belligerence like some chickenhawk that thinks his target is helpless.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Yeah, that lady did seem like she had her head on top of her shoulders (weird ass expression btw lol). She seemed clearly upset and concerned, something that should be common sense and humanity was only shown by her.

That punch was completely unnecessary and uncalled for, and under no scenario, roles reversed, whatever would that be justifiable. If i were the judge id send that guy to jail ASAP regardless of skin color, what words were used, etc.

I'll go one further and say that if the roles were reversed I'd get off at my stop, go home and sleep peacefully. I understand that you'd do the same.

I think the problem is that none of us could understand what the FK that guy was saying, and how frequently he said it to the offended.
We all have our limits, and catch us on the wrong day and this is what happens.
Not saying it was correct but times have changed and mess with the wrong individual( no matter the race) and it could end badly for you.

I lived overseas as a kid and fighting was not the massive taboo it is here. As a kid if someone disrespects bullys whatever you its ok to stand up for yourself and fight them. Its very interesting to read the american mindset that people should be allowed to spout off vulgarities and racist words and not get attacked. Thats just pussified craziness. Theres a line that gets crossed when you insult someones race or call a woman foul words. Good for them nice punch. Good walk away.

The whole point of physical violence is to either

A: eliminate a threat to yourself/loved ones
B: matter of honour

In this case throwing a sucker punch when you're with two of your buddies shouldn't make you feel one bit better about yourself as a man and furthermore it doesn't emasculate your opponent in any way, shape or form. Black dude could have just as well pepper sprayed, stabbed or shot him. All bitch moves in such a situation.

If someone is acting all "alpha" and disrespecting you -- especially in this kind of situation where it's 3v1, you have the advantage, and your opponent is clearly unarmed -- calmly challenge the man to a fight. Tell him "alright tough guy, follow me outside"

If he backs down -- which he most likely will -- you've emasculated him. If he doesn't, it becomes a fair fight, you've behaved honourably and you can give yourself a pat on the back.

But really only the coolest cats with super low inhibition and confidence can behave in such a calm and collected way. Most of us will resort to sucker punches, shouting, cussing, pushing, shoving, xon1 (where x is the number of your buddies with you), etc...

Steven Pressfield writes about this in "Gates of Fire", how the Spartans were calm and collected before battle because they were professional warriors, meanwhile their opponents always had to work themselves into a frenzy to gather courage.
