I feel like a lot of my psychosis issue comes from my Dad

He gets so mad sometimes.

I remember incidents of him in road rage and just dropping f bombs and hitting the steering wheel. One time at night the moon was behind a cloud or something and I thought it'd be funny to mention that there was no sky and he started raging like someone just nuked china or something.

Don't you think it's weird that some accounts average over 200 reps per day, every single day, for years on end?

Same
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

-I'd rather live life saying "I failed" than "I could have"

Dad here who is guilty of more than a couple of incidences of flying off the handle on my son. No striking or anything like that, but yelling at him on car rides home from the hockey game (he played goalie), yelling at him about grades and his school work. Just a number of times where after the fact, I felt bad about what I said to him. I have apologized to him. Told him that I should not have spoke to him like that, and that deep down I only want him to be the best he can be, but it doesn't come out that way. Just dropped him off at his freshman college dorm this past weekend. I'm unbelievably proud of the man he has become, even with the parenting mistakes I've made. I miss him already. It makes my eyes rain.

Parents make mistakes. They don't have all the answers. Parents are also more proud of their kids than they let on.
