SF2: The Animated Movie, however, would make for a closer match.

mortal kombat for sure, ever since I saw sub zero rip out a guys spine in the arcade I was a fan

Mortal Kombat had more exciting fights compared to Street Fighter. Scorpion vs Johny Cage was a good fight scene.

And the music.....everyone was blasting it when the movie first came out. I bet you if they played it in gyms today, the testosterone levels would rise dramatically.
