Rate deadlifts/10
435x3 here
Had a glute med injury while deadlifting back in Oct 2018, and didn't deadlift until early July this year. Started at 315 on the trap bar, switched to barbell and have been adding 10-20 lbs every session.
1 top set with a triple, then 3 back off sets @85% of the top set. So yesterday was 435x3, 375x3x5

No rounding back clean controlled pull, lock out could be a bit stronger/longer but definitely one of the better dl videos posted 9/10

fast progress.
Consider lighter intensity, higher frequency work as well. Maybe something around 70% for a bit if needed.

I've heard a great tip once from a powerlifter, you need to always start in the positon that you are going to pull from
meaning
if you look, right before you pull you get everythng tiight and drop your ass down a little, then when you start pulling (before the bar leaves the floor ) the arse rises again
you need to start in the strongest position right from the start ( the one labeled optimal ), that is the one that you reach right before the bar leaves the floor.
That butt travel wiill only lose energy
Spoiler!
And IMO you need to always think about impregnating that barbell ballz deep, push your butt into that bar, looks like you stop a little short.
Think of the deadlift like a leg press + think of pushing your butt forwards as hard as you can.

What did you do to rehab the glute-med injury?
Lift looks good to me, especially since you say you were off for over a year and just getting back into it!

The barbell medicine lectures/articles helped a lot. tldr a big part of chronic pain is threat perception, and not actual tissue damage. So starting with some ROM/loading that is not/minimally painful, then progressively overloading it gradually is the key. In my case, it was the high handle trap bar deads--> Snatch grip RDLs--> full ROM deadlifts

If your hips shoot up first, then that can put you in a position where your chest is down and you get pulled forward. That’s not happening to you much there. Maybe at heavier weights it could, but you were pulling from a very strong position in the video.
Honestly, I’d probably strengthen that upper back with front squats because maybe that’s what’s (very slightly) pulling you forward, but I’d probably just keep adding weight to the bar and run with it.

-Squats with the safety squat bar, if you have one, are good.
-Shrugs.
-Hamstring work too may keep you upright at the start of the pull. RDL’s/KB Swings, leg curls, etc.

Wouldn't change anything, looks perfect. Good luck on working your way up, 435x3 looks like a fairly easy set for you which is impressive.

Looks good, but you should at least make an attempt to not drop the weights.
