What are some benefits of being muscular and very strong?

I think in general
-People tend to treat those who are muscular and in good shape better. Example, I was with my friend at the gym and we saw this guy who looked like an ifbb pro and my friend was saying how he probably dedicated his life to it and respects the dedication
-attracting more women. Big muscles usually signify high testosterone, and being built can signify to a woman you are able to protect her. Women want to reproduce with men with high testosterone levels.
-Improved self-esteem and confidence.
-Strong, big people are less likely to be messed with. Thats why lots of night club securities hire big security guards. Even though some cant fight, people are less likely to mess with them due to how big and intimidating they are

Literally none.

1. When i see really big guy i think: "he made a cult out of and build his life around nothing. Must be stressed about any extra calorie or missed protein intake. What a cuck." Pretty sure most of people that aren't gymcels thinking similar.
2. Ideal form for majority of women is tonned lean body that you can achieve with healty diet and few calisthenics per week.
3 & 4. yeah mb. Tho nothing beats martial arts in that regard, so why don't you just learn how to fight insted.

Just an observation. Your post strikes of insecurity. You look down on a guy that dedicates himself to working out and tracks his calories? You realise this is a bodybuilding forum right?

Being really fit is more important than very muscular

-more or likely natty so healthier and high natty test
-more women are attracted to fit not overly muscular
- Did I say healthier?
-can still manhandle the misses/gf in the bedroom
-you don’t walk with your arms flared out like a fuking idiot
-Fit into regular clothes (m-XL)especially ones that matter like work suits, sport coats etc-
-more appealing on office outings, dinners, events etc
I probably banged your mom.

Eat the whole animal like a real man.

Sure martial arts helps once you're in a fight, but being big usually keeps you out of them, which is the even better option as an adult.

How come looking down on som1 is insecurity? Well i don't rly care about what he's doing with his life. At the end it's all the same, just in my opinion dedicating your life to picking up and pushing stuff is kinda meh.

I think the ideal physique is

"An “aesthetic body type” is one that is built for visual appeal. It’s not about getting big and bulky like the guys you see on stage at a bodybuilding show or building strength and endurance for athletic performance.

An aesthetic body is a dense, hard, and well-defined natural physique with broad shoulders, a square masculine chest, rock hard arms, a slim waist, and athletic legs with minimal body fat. "

1. I eat whatever I want. I choose to eat clean to feel better physically. I count fukall calories

2. I can essentially have sex with whoever I want no cope

3 & 4: Martial arts and street fighting are not 100% transferable. I will smash your 150 pound body into the concrete as you go for your Chinese finger traps. Although I will give props to BJJ. Also it’s easier to avoid fights when you are big.

You know nothing essentially.

2. Again good for you. Just cos you are muscular? Sry i don't believe it. If you can fk whoever you want you could do it and without extra meat.
3. I'm talking about real martial arts like boxing not some bullsht. Against good boxer you will be sleeping before you can grab anything.

"Also it’s easier to avoid fights when you are big."
This is soooooo true.

Even if you didn't know who Tyson was, i doubt people would want to pick a fight with someone who looks like this. they would probably cross the street out of fear

I personally wish I was or would ever be strong enough to flip over cars like the old school strongmen but don’t think I’ll ever be strong enough sadly

As far as smashing peoples bodies go, it’s a lot different to move a person than it is to move weights in a specific compounded movement exercise, skinny non lifters can be very fast and dangerous

I’ve been both. I was 6’1 135 pounds in high school when I wrestled. There is only so much technique can do and people that haven’t experienced the strength or size difference will never understand it and just talk about the theory of it.

People don't fck with you and tend to try to be your friend. srs.

Women always comment about your size and strength.

You can do a lot more physically with life things that come up, especially yourself. Strength is never a weakness.

As someone said above, you're just more useful.

as opposed to dedicating your life to???

srs question. I like lifting weight, compete in powerlifting, but it is not an inconvenience in any other aspect of my life. I probably would not fall under your definition of "gymcel" since I do not live for the gym, but I would say I am dedicated to lifting/powerlifting. Just wondering what you dedicate your life to that you think is a better pursuit?

I dont see your post as insecure so much as just not seeing that the gymcel probably considers his passion as important as what you are dedicated to(if this sentence even makes sense lol).

In my experience being bigger/stronger has both advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages:
For tradesmen, being stronger tends to lend itself to a job. If you are pulling, pushing, squatting heavy in the gym, even though barbells/dumbells are more ergonomically friendly, the work you do tends to be much easier as far as physical demands.
For office brahs/professional types, the sitting in one spot is not good for the body, so getting in the gym and moving weight around carries obvious physical benefits.
In general, people tend to think twice about getting aggressive if you are a bigger guy. Martial arts training being equal, a smaller man tends to lose against a bigger man in a fight.

Disadvantages:
Tradesmen tend to find the strongest dude in the crew to lean on when the work gets heavy.
People in general expect you to know how to fight if you are big, so sometimes if you get yourself into a situation where you have to fight, there are usually less alternatives to getting out of it peacefully. This usually is in a bar/club/party type scenario, though.

TL;DR

Stronger people are more useful
You would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

I man being twice my size and weight and fit

-I feel more feminine
-If I can lift around the same weight it’s a major turn off or if he can’t pick me up
-even if I don’t need it, there is something very attractive about a man being able to physically protect me
-they will always eat more than me when going out but also make decent food choices so we’ll both like the restaurant

I do a lot of landlord type side work, which often includes hauling chit around or moving things like washers/dryers, digging up pipes in the yard, etc. Strength is useful for all of that, especially when it's only me or just me+1 other person doing it.

Also was useful several years ago when I went out to a bar with some friends. Guy came up and started aggressively hitting on the girls we brought, I told him to leave and he wouldn't, he started pushing me around and trying to grab me (he was pretty drunk which made all of this pretty easy to fight off) but literally all I had to do was pin his arms down and walk him out of the bar lol, was nice to have enough strength to just force him to keep his arms at his side.

Anyway, it's useful.

Shredded and fit:

-stronger bones
-can hold up in emergency situations
-good for competitive games(basketball)
-all around physically competent.

Very muscular like Arnold:

-you must eat alot
-must dedicate a massive amount of time to working out
-you'll look out of place in public
