It was kind weird how he was linked to child prostitution and trying to make it aware when all of a sudden he "dies". There hasn't been any substantial evidence that he was truly murdered though so I guess we'll never know.

Pretty much this. Loved his shows though and am currently binge watching them until I can travel again.

Probably not. I think he suffered from depression and got involved with a borderline woman who wrecked his life. She slowly sucked the life out of him, and you can watch it in real time on the last season of his show. The most simple explanation is probably the truth.

In one of his TV episodes, he spoke of a dream where he was in a hotel and couldn't find his way out.... it was a manifestation of his depression, traveling to run away from it and not escaping.
















































It also didn't help his wife was a ****phile (who ironically founded the #METOO movement), with leaked pictures of her and a like 12 year old boy in bed naked together. The boy actually extorted Bourdain and his wife (they paid) they still leaked the photos anyway. Its why #METOO immediately fell off the face of the earth SRS

Wow seriously? Didn't know that. Was wondering why I haven't heard **** about metoo in a while. I heard some stories of some people that were big proponents of the movement and ended up being caught but I didn't know that Bourdain and his wife were involved.

Would have to say this whole situation combined with his depression and drug use probably tipped him over the edge. For someone living close to the edge and dancing near and far from it his entire life, I could see it being what pushed him over it...

Also would NOT be surprised if it was murder, I have heard the conspiracies and tend to give them some credence.

Like on heavy drugs or something to compensate with his wife drama

I will miss his shows but he became more about traveling and looking like a nomad later on instead of the TV chef that made him famous. He just seemed “lost” and searching for something he couldn’t find

Pretty sure he used heavy drugs his entire life. Not uncommon with chefs/people who work in restaurants.
