Maybe in America, but in Italy a lot of Nigerians are criminals. Quite well organized, at that. At times they've done battle with the Italian mafia, at other times they've teamed up with them to traffic drugs and thousands of African women into prostitution in Italy.

The two biggest Nigerian gangs in Italy are called "Black Axe" and "Vikings".
Mafia members in Sicily are teaming up with a Nigerian gang that uses machetes on its enemies and only accepts degree-qualified members, to run sex rings on the Italian island.

Police sources told The Times that members of the Vikings—a gang that sprung out of Nigerian universities in the 1980s and demands that members have no criminal record—have collaborated with the local Cosa Nostra, or the Sicilian Mafia in Ballaro, a town in Sicily, and were threatening to expand into the capital Palermo.

The groups have worked together on vice rings involving Nigerian women who have been trafficked to Italy as sex workers. Nigerian women began traveling to Italy in the 1980s to work as fruit pickers but soon turned to sex work, and an estimated 30,000 have since been trafficked from the West African country to work as prostitutes in Italy and elsewhere in Europe, The Guardian reported.

Rodolfo Ruperti, head of the police flying squad in Palermo, Sicily, said that the Vikings had stepped in to fill the vacuum after senior members of another Nigerian gang, the Black Axe mafia, were arrested in late 2016. "When you take one out, others will try to fill the gap," Ruperti told The Times .

The Vikings, who wear red berets and use a secret handshake, have eclipsed the Black Axe as the premier Nigerian gang in Sicily after police targeted the latter in a series of sting operations last year.

A police source told The Times that the Vikings had a fluid leadership structure, which made them harder to shut down compared to the Black Axe, which had local bosses in each town and national and European figureheads.

Police arrested more than 20 Black Axe members in raids across the country for alleged involvement in a range of criminal activities, including drug dealing and prostitution rackets, Sky News reported.Italian authorities said that the Nigerian criminals were used as drug dealers by the higher-up Italian mobsters, who banned the West African gangsters from carrying guns to maintain their superiority.

"There is harmony in Ballaro. Nigerian lookouts posted to watch for the police will alert Cosa Nostra members as well as their own," the source said.

All Nigerians I've met are raised very well. Srs they have better parenting than 95% of Canadians of any race. They have a culture of strong values that comes from Islam/Christianity that's not completely subverted by homosexuality and feminism and all that other leftist garbage.

And of course only the very smart (100IQ+) ones actually make the trip over.

in terms of black immigrants, Nigerians, as well as other African-descended people from the Caribbean are great when compared to their African-American peers (higher median income, lower crime rates, etc). Arguably due to big cultural differences (emphasis on education, career, etc).

I don't really blame them. Italy isn't the land of opportunity like America or Canada. They basically have two options: pick fruit/vegetables for below minimum wage or gangbang. I know I'd turn to a life of crime if I had nothing to lose and a lot of bros by my side.

In that case, the key is not to let them in the first place. But that would go against EU policy.

I blame them, if they don't want to pick fruit or do low wage jobs then don't come just to make the new country more like the place you just escaped. Typically poor immigrants struggled so their offspring won't have to.

I also blame the EU too but illegals are also aided by "activists" who also want to make their own countries worse. They know that opportunities for illegals are scarce and there's a good chance they'll be parasites or dregs but they don't care.

Why shouldn't they come if they're basically invited?

I look at the boat people coming into Europe from Africa kind of like Viking marauders or pirates. They're strong, healthy men with little to lose in life, coming to pillage and plunder and get some booty.

So long as they aren't marching in the streets like bitches demanding handouts from taxpayers (like the Africans in Sweden for example), they have my respect for having balls, taking risks and hustling.

Yes, family values and two-parent households are definitely another big reason

I would disagree though that incentivizing having babies out of wedlock was by design. I think it was unfortunately an unintended consequence that people (at least on the left) are willing to sweep under the rug because they can't imagine instituting welfare reform.

100% srs we have a Nigerian LVN at work who is probably one of the funniest guys I have ever met. Very thick accent makes it hard to understand him at times, but he always brings the lols.

We took an inmate back to our on site hospital with a messed up arm after he was in a fight, and as part of the medical evaluation they do a mental health assessment.

Nigerian "Do you want to hurt yourself or other?"

Inmate "Yeah, I'm homicidal!"

Nigerian "You're homo-cidal? Ok, but do you want to hurt yourself or others?"

Inmate "No, I said homicidal, I want to kill other people!"

Nigerian "I heard you already, your homo-cidal, that's fine, but do you want to hurt anyone?"

My partners and I were dying, inmate was mad as hell and we just kept laughing at him.

Lol this. Indian people here are only smart because literally the top 1% are coming to America. The top 1% of Indians is still a **** ton of people, which is why we're dominating the income stats and you see us everywhere. Go to actual India and the people there are dumb azz paper tigers because the education level is low and poverty is high. I imagine it's the same **** with Nigerians (no racist).

TL;DR - Culture matters more than race.
