What do Americans know about Europe? srs
Apart from Europe's history (WW1 and 2), what do Americans know about Europe? I've had Americans think Europe was a country.
Is the average American interested in Europe (economics e.g.) or do they not give a fuk?

The average American cannot point on the globe where any other continent actually is, let alone countries in Europe, capitals etc - forget about it.
Jimmy Kimmel had in one of his shows a map of the world outside his studio and was asking people what countries and continents they can locate....maybe around 90 + % failed.
Maybe it's due to very poor education or just very low average IQ.
EDIT: I will get flamed, but it's the truth lol

Well I’ve traveled all over Europe, south east Asia and Central America/Caribbean so what do you want me to answer about them?
I bet most Europeans don’t know as much about the USA as they think. Even more so, we know more about their health care systems then they do about ours.

The western part has taxes, expensive housing and crap weather. Thankfully it has tons of diversity otherwise it would be horrible.

Houses are expensive AF, thankfully I managed to buy a house on my own because I'm doing well professionally.

Speaking for myself: UKcels (the UK is part of Europe, you do not need to be in the EU to be part of Europe) do not look up to 'Americans', more kind-of view the US as one huge, delusional reality TV show that we find slightly puzzling and depressing.
They/we view ourselves and other Europeans with good natured loathing and a kind of lazily cynical disgust.
Britain sucks, but we're pretty sure everywhere else does too
