Weighted Planks
Russian Twists.

Lying Inclined leg raises..lying with head up top, feet on floor, legs straight.
Weighted Lying Leg Raise
Ball Crunches with feet stabilized.

Usually people do cable crunches kneeling.
They usually engage their hip flexor when they crunch down.
This is why you might not feel it in the abs.
I keep my hips stable. I pull down with the abs.

With all crunches I pull with the abs and feel the abs working on the way up.

That mind muscle connection.

When weight training learn to feel the muscle working that you are training.
Don't just move a bunch of weight.

It's NOT about how much weight you lift.
It's about HOW you lift the weight.
Chit, a comprehensive list of ab exercises... I legit haven't done much to focus on them. Only recently began training them again. This could be pretty useful for me, honestly.

There was a time when I was doing dragon flags for sets of five regularly, but now, I can barely do a "lowering" dragon flag.

Always pass on what you have learned.

I forgot one of my favorites.

Hanging Windshield Wipers
I would do them with my knees bent.

I always enjoyed the looks I got.
She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

I don't have a pull up bar, so I've been doing a variation of those while laying down

Curious what kind of programs y’all running? My home gym is coming end of month (hopefully sooner). I have no machines anymore so it’s just a power rack, barbell, and dumbbells.

What do you all think about obliques. I first listened to the old adage that they’ll make your waist wider, but I’m thinking that that’s not true unless they get massive, and that waist size is unchangeable. Honestly though well developed obliques on a ripped physique look great, and make it look “big” as opposed to only having well developed rectus abdominis. Obliques were also rated as on the same level as rectus abs for attractiveness to females too

Gym training is temporarily on hold.

My car is in the shop.
It might be in there until next week.
They need to find the parts.
One of the perks of owning a 26 year old car.

On a brighter note my weight is still dropping.

178.2 this morning.

Keep acquiring The Shredz!

I returned to the gym on 7/31.
My second day was 8/2 and on 8/3 I had to drop my car off at the repair shop.

My car was in the shop for a over a week waiting for a part.

I plan to return to the gym tomorrow.

Let's hope this restart lasts longer than two days.

Morning weight was 178, so not too bad.

The obliques man fukk. I'm a flat mess RN, but I'll still attempt to take a pic if requested lmao
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

been back on the cutting game for 4 weeks and making massive improvements while holding muscle

its amazing what you can do when you build up your metabolism first, then do mostly HIIT cardio, still lift heavy AF, and up your protein to pretty damn high amounts to fight hunger and hold onto muscle.

Im down to around 12-13% bf (actual bf% not leoslayer standards), and i reached that stage where you dont see a single change after 3-4 days, and then one day you wake up and you are like "damn thats amazing", only for it to stall yet again.

Anybody goes trough the same **** or is it just my mind? lol.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."
