Why are american soda companies such stupid *******s?

You can buy this french sodas at any grocery store. Only has 14 grams of sugar and taste fukin great. Nowhere near as sweet as coke. It's light and refreshing and I'm going back to buy a couple more.

This got me thinking, why the fuk do soda companies need to put ~60 grams of sugar per can? 10-15 grams is more than enough. If you need more sugar than that, you have issues.

Every single restaurant in the USA serves coke, 7up, root beer, and other sodas with a disgusting amount of sugar every day to 10s of millions of people. No wonder non-obese women can make a career out of onlyfans, the average American woman is a fat smelly disgusting obese diabeties-ridden cow and men lose their chit fighting over the very very small minority of non-obese women.

Because people with low self control will buy more of it.

I don't drink any soda but when I do I prefer a coke. Just tastes better than anything else.

The fuk are u talking about, like half the country lol.

Just about every american grocery store has an entire aisle dedicated to soda in 2020.

I only drink selter water the past couple years but I'd drink soda more often if it has a reasonable amount of sugar

Even 14gs is too much to drink regularly in any significant amount, which I would be inclined to do because I love carbonated stuff. But I’ve drank maybe 1L total of full-sugar pop in the last decade

Carbonated water and diet pops only crew, regular pop just tastes sickly sweet now

I work at a soda company. Every year since I've been there (6 years) sales are down. Plants closing. Our bottling plant closed, absolutely no news coverage. Soda is dead. It's about coffee, tea, energy drinks and zero calorie drinks now.
Virtue is its own reward.

I haven’t had a full can of regular soda in over a decade. When the Chinese place I order from gives me a free can, I’ll take two sips by the sink and dump the rest out, lol. I can’t deny it’s good but it’s literally liquid candy you’re drinking.

I ordered a case of Coca Cola with the glass bottles from Mexico but the delivery was lost and they refunded me. Evidently, they still use cane sugar while we use the cheaper high fructose corn syrup so everyone says that’s why theirs still tastes so much better.

Agree its too sweet and just makes you thirstier. Not refreshing at all.

I think 10-12 grams would be a reasonable amount. Major soda companies are apparently too stupid to understand the potential of creating a LOW sugar soda and marketing it. That doesn't mean diet or zero sugar. That means 10-15 grams of sugar per can.

You think white claw and the overwhelming popularity of hard seltzer would have taught them something. People want a healthy option. Soda companies are too fuking stupid to see the potential

I think UK made softdrinks cut the amount of sugar in their products, I wish we'd do that here, makes no sense they put so much of it when it would be better for everyone with less (unless the companies found out the more sugar = more addicts)

I know adults like this,

I try to tell them to at least switch to diet soda or even better, sparkling water but they're hooked to the sugary stuff.

Your nephew will probably get kidney stones

I find it relatively hard to find drinks in any convenience store without sugar in it. Even the teas are loaded. And the cold brew has dairy.

Luckily a lot of the stores are starting to have a huge variety of healthy drinks near the doors and self-checkouts.

Europe is so much better at decent snack foods and drinks, and for whatever reason they have only one place in town typically with convenience, and yet the US has convenience stores on every corner.

I do

A nice ice cold cola out that glass bottle is always great, even better when I'm pairing it with some carne asada tacos
