Tried to take on too much, too fast. And they should have stopped Japan from attacking us at whatever cost. Had they not lost a fuk ton of men, tanks, and supplies in their failed invasion of Russia, they would have been able to have a stronger hold on the western front. And had America not entered the war, Britain never would have had enough power for an invasion like D-Day.

Mind blown no one already talked about the big 4 mistakes Hitler made:
1. He ordered to wait at Dunkirk instead of crushing the whole British army even though his leading General wanted to crush them to their bones (Hitler thought it would be good to not massacre them for reasons no one can tell you)
2. After the Bismarck sunk he ordered battleships to stop the Sea Warfare and made the supply line for Britain even easier. Also lost air superiority at that time since he wanted to bomb London instead of strategic spots like factories and airfields. Without the US-British Sea supply line the Air superiority wouldn’t have been possible.
3. Stalingrad was a huge mess. Strategic Mistakes everywhere. Well known by everyone.
4. The battle of kursk (aka the turning point). That was a secret operation. Some insider led every information to the Russians. Again strategic time mistakes. After that it was over.
Also a great mention is the lack of fuel. Germany always struggled with.

Hitler and the Nazis came to power in January 1933 and they invaded Poland in September 1939 which is when the war started. Hitler's plan from the beginning was to always conquer Europe, so for 6.5 years all they basically did in Germany was build up their military. 6.5 years may be a short amount of time on a grand scale, but you can get a lot of chit done in 6.5 years in a well-oiled society like Nazi Germany was.

Demobilised soldiers joined paramliitary organisations and para-military arms of parties.
German industry was not destroyed after WW1. Rearmament for revenge started soon after. It was the industry that was the driver, wanting the vast riches of Russia. Hitler was just a public figurehead.

Considering Germany is like #3 in the world in terms of immigration #'s one could argue the influence of the language isn't going away. Also consider Brexit and the continued growth of Germany as a leader in the EU (4th Reich and all that).
But anyways we also speak "New German" (English) a lot over here.
Maybe in those hypothetical scenarios where the Amerika Bombers worked out and fortress Europa held up we'd all be comfortable with some form of Denglish that exists anyways in Germany today.

Nobody ever in the history of mankind has succeeded in taking over all of Europe. The Romans, Alexander the Great, Napoleon, Mussolini, Hitler all tried. The EU will also not succeed into making it a superstate and will fall soon. Napoleon and Hitler in particular became obsessed with what we now know as Russia. EU repeating history all over again

Logistics basically did them in. Plus they had awesome weapons (88mm, Tiger tanks, ME 109, etc) but a lot of them we overly complex and difficult to manufacture compared to the Russian and American counterparts.
As mentioned previously, Hitler had great generals (Model, Guderian, Rommel) but he did not give them the control in situations that they needed to become victorious.

Balanced fight yeah
Germany was peak military during WW2, they just couldn't fight everyone at once. Japan was their only buttraping ally they had but they f up by attacking US rather than helping Germany conquer USSR by taking the eastern part. USSR was a weak ass in comparison, but had huge territory and was impossible for one country to overtake it. Also they were supplied by US at the end of the war.

Lebensraum concept was both political and strategic.
Look at the American “Manifest Destiny” and what happened in the American West. Did Americans or rather DO Americans hate aboriginals? Regardless they have been killed, displaced, and generally disregarded in the name of Americcan progress... srs

He did not finisb then off at dunkirk cause hitler did not want to go to war with england. He said that many times. Hell ha had all of france bur he let the goverment of france keep half its country and most of its colonies
After franc3 he made peace off after peace offee tk Churchill and churchhill wanted nothing but war. All over poland he said but at the end of the war. He let poland reamain conqured by stalin.
You hear. None of this though on tv shiws and movies which are not even historically accurate. Cause he goes against the hate priopganda against hitler. Its weird. Stalin did much worse things. So did japan. Stalin murdered more jews than hitler but you never get told this unless you seek out history
