Goddamn I miss old action movies. How fuking hard is it to spend money on crashing cars and blowing sht up rather than paying a bunch of nerds to make CGI scenes that look like garbage. There's no way doing the real thing is more expensive. Everyone is just lazy as fuk these days and don't care about anything. Fuk everyone

I think 90s had it over the 80s for movies.

One year in the 90s had Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump, The Lion King, Ace Ventura, True Lies, Speed, Clear and Present Danger, Legends of the Fall, Dumb and Dumber, Natural Born Killers, The Mask, The Crow.

how has this not been mentioned?

“The Misc. is a stone-faced Uncle Sam with Popeye’s forearms and a cocked pistol in each hand. It’s a screeching bald eagle with a foreign Bad Thing in its talons. It’s everything that defines America’s bro culture, magnified and weaponized. But it’s deeper than that.“

So much this. All nextflix **** these days is god awful CGI that Xbox 360 would be embarrassed of. I'm still shocked at how good Independence Day (the original) CGI is compared to modern day garbage. Sad!

How the opening scene ties through the whole movie up until the very last scene.

Spoiler!
Didn't post last scene it would ruin the movie for you
She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.
