I know misc hates pitbulls I really do think like 70% of it is environment and upbringing. Best friend has a pit who is the most laid back chill dog you'll ever meet in ur life.

My hate isn't with the animals it's the owners. It's like hating a Lion when it breaks free from the circus and starts slaying mother ****ers. I normally feel happy for the Lion when it does. Same for Elephants and any other tortured animal for human amusement.

Pitbulls should be treated like Lions, bears, or any other feral animal that is capable of tremendous damage if provoked or given the opportunity to.

poor cardio and not knowing how to deal with adrenaline spike

most people got like 20 to 30 seconds of fight in them where they go at 100% (which isn't much for the avg person who does no physical training) after which their muscles are done

Unless a child or loved one is being attacked by a pitbull no fking way will I intervene without a gun. I'm not going to lose my leg or arm from bone infection, nerve injury, or arterial laceration to help someone's cat or dog.

Pits are okay dogs. All of the ones I've ever met are just hyper as hell and annoying, but just as good as any other dog I've met and I've never once been afraid around any of them. The attacks are usually always from owners who have no common sense and can't even handle a Yorkie much less a dog of power like a Pitbull.

There's no controlling this beast though. Presa Canarios are the breed of dogs that mauled the lesbian in San Fransisco walking into her own apartment. The white supremacist married couple owned 3 of these beasts and bought them from a prison inmate who knew this litter was violent as hell. Nobody could fight off 3 of these things if attacked or control them if they were the owner. They have no business as a breed.

People don't understand that Pit Bulls are basically wild predators. You can raise them really well and they may seem to be part of your family, but they can just go and kill a kid or another dog as prey just like that, and they'll get pissed if you try to interfere. They have even been known to turn on their masters sometimes. Pitbull psychology and predator psychology in general is so alien to humans that they cannot understand why a pitbull might be sweet for years and then suddenly murder a baby. They just don't get it. The same reason why you shouldn't have lions, tigers, or bears as pets...
