How many hours of sleep do you get?

I only get around 6 even though I try to get at least 7. I used to think it varied per person but seems like every article I read says adults need around 8. Not sure how I'm still alive. Maybe I'm gonna die soon Idunnolol.jpg

Wow most of you are fortunate that your body allows that many hours of sleep. Even if I were to set aside 8 hours I'd still be lucky to get 6. I keep waking up throughout the night, I think I have apnea but never went to a sleep center to get diagnosed (I don't think that would help even if I did get diagnosed since I heard mixed reviews about cpap masks).

Try for 8. Usually get 7. Sometimes I get home late which usually drops it to 6. Or I'll have court so 3, then up for court, then about 2 more.

All except that court one start off the first 4 hours heavily medicated, then up and down for the rest.

I always try to atleast hit 7-8 hours now just to assure full recovery but if I have had a big night out previously, i'll sleep for like 9-11 hours depending on my state.

It's not easy for night shift workers though because I usually finish at like 3am and then sleep by like 5-6 but then it skips breakfast which sucks
if you need someone to chat with, don't hesitate to shoot me a PM.

Usually average 7 and sleep pretty well. Every once in a while though I’ll get like 5 hours, have to piss and then once I get up I just can’t fall back asleep no matter what.

Pretty much the same here. Do you have too busy of a schedule to get more than 6 hours or are you like me where you just have trouble sleeping?

IF let alone I usually sleep between 8 and 9 hours but thats not usually the case since Im very sensitive to noises and where I live dumb neightbours make plenty in early morning.

So what happens is that I usually sleep 8-9 hours but not all are deep uninterrupted sleep, I often sleep with earplugs and even them sometimes are not enough.
I have a very deep sleep between 8-10 but light sleep in the middle between 5 and 8.

If the room is not cold, totally dark and silent my sleep gets interrupted.

At least Im unemployed...so no hurry in the morning.

My work is flexible so I can go to bed around 11.30 or midnight and wake up at 8.30 or 9 and then draw my laptop straight up to my bed so I can begin checking emails. Then I can shower, get breakfast, and begin working properly.
