Saw this posted yesterday. I think it looks good personally. I’ll take the dark and gritty movies over the marvel types 10/10 times. Not for everyone I understand

Well...I grew up watching Batman as a kid. I remember my dad taking me to watch The Dark Knight as kid. One of my best cinema experiences.

I would say it has Matt Reeves who has a great resume. Robert Pattinson is also a great actor and this is supposed to feature The Riddler, Catwoman and someone else.


I am tired of the origin stories and reboots though..

I don’t understand the hate this guy gets off of doing one movie series tbh. Can understand that people have diff taste but everyone seems to attack this guy when he’s shown in other films he’s a good actor.

As for the movie anyone who thinks It looks good will either have grown up liking DC or just like the Batman is my guess.

ben affleck has a big ego. he has to join a movie and edit scripts. make himself better. he actually joined dc and wanted to add a love interest between him and wonder woman

This batman wont be the same universe as Justice league

ben affleck batman returned and he'll be the mainstream batman. so no matter how good this movie is. it doesnt matter. ben affleck had to have his way. Patterson batman will never interact with aquaman,ww, cyborg, superman etc

Hating the crack-whore looking Catwoman.
Pattinson is a good actor, but Batman should not be in DYEL mode. We live in an age where actors drink the juice for roles. Scrawny Michael Keaton style Batman don't cut the mustard today. They will probably need a body double and CGI like they did with Fatfleck.
Overall it looks like this Batman is just poverty. He's wearing off the shelf boots, his car is like a white-trash muscle car, his masks looks like his mom made it, uh I mean Alfred. (too soon?)

Only saving grace is Matt Reeves. He has a good track record. Liked his take on the Apes.

We are in the minority on a dying bodybuilding forum that want to see some joocy roided out actor. General public and comic book fans probably won't even care if he's DYEL as he's gonna be wearing the bat suit anyway.

You're right. Colin Farrel was another name attached to the movie. Honestly the movie has some good people attached to it. It could end up being just as good as the Nolan Trilogy.

They made an interesting trailer. But the Batman origin story can only be retold so many times. I thought TDK trilogy was the best of the Batman series. They should have continued from that point. Pattinson may be a good actor but he's too young and too skinny to be a good Batman IMO. We don't need anymore 'young' Batman movies.

This is not an origin story. But it is Batmans early years so he will stumble a bit.

The movie is loosely based off of the Hush animated movie i hear, which was dope af.

Trailer surprised me. I think the ratedR will save it.


Also, this is the multiverse, so this is the reason for there being two active Batmans etc.

Looks good to me

It's supposed to be based on The Long Halloween comics which was a big detective story and included many villains

Zack Snyder's Justice League looks good too. Though not sure about using Heaven from Watchemen(Directed and Produced by Zack Snyder)




The Batman costume looks a lot like Netflix/Marvel Daredevil

The trailer collectively looked good but I'm still not sold on Pattinson. He'll have the opportunity to win over the masses if he performs well but he looks really boyish/teen hearthrob-y. Honestly has more the look for Robin/Nightwing if anything.

I think it looks good. I prefer more "real" Batman as well. It gets too tricky with super humans and Batman on film, which is why I don't care for the Justice League when it's not animated too much.

Don't know why everyone is talking about an origin story, I didn't get that at all from the trailer.
