I cant find any credible articles or research papers saying 1.3% is the death rate.. maybe for people over the age of 90.

Does anyone know the actual death rate for those under 70 for covid? Isnt it like .04% or some ****

You're hearing the quoted 99% number because the CDC suspects that beyond testing the actual asymptomatic population that's positive for the virus but with very mild/unnoticeable symptoms is actually 10 times the number of confirmed cases, which would make the survival rate jump to 99.6%.
